The meaning behind my url.

Ahaha. I have explained it a few times but, never really wrote it down well enough to explain it properly. Welp, I guess it’s time for that.

My url started with a story/insane imaginings from my brother, whom is four years older than me. I’m not sure when it started but when my brother was feeling fun and comedic (I guess. Tbh, I have no idea what goes on in his brain, and he has no idea either. xD) he would come up with little stories that had me rolling around nearly dying with laughter. Stories of were-giraffes, snow ninjas and goblin ninjas and it all tied into the storyline of, you guessed it, penguins.

The penguins storyline was like the quote “One by one the penguins steal my sanity.” Basically, penguins were trying to take over the world by infiltrating countries, via zoos. They would also have alliances with snow ninjas and such. All these stories, which I cannot do justice and will not try, were so hilarious and ridiculous that it kind of made a mark on me.

So when I was wanting a new url (my first was danceoceandyingmotions, rather poetic of me, and I was wanting a new url for months) the penguin story was at the forefront of my mind. I was thinking that the penguins must have had generals and such, thinking about what could go well with penguin and then warlords popped into my head and I was like, “Dude, that is fucking badass. That is definitely gonna be my url.”

And as such, PenguinWarlords was born.

Just because my brother is insane. xD I hope that explains it enough for you.

I draw more for fun and to relax. And sometimes an idea gets stuck in my head and I have to draw it or I just can’t sleep. Definitely more ideas than actually finished work, though.
