Not long after, violet eyes slowly opened in the direct line of the sun-Amy blamed her pesky circadian rhythm for the rude awakening. With some irritated grumbles, she turned from her back and face planted into the nearest pillow she could find. She mumbled something along the lines of ‘five more minutes’ but it came out as a garbled, “fffvvee mr mmms...” Dark hair was sprawled out around her head, providing some cover from the morning intruder peaking in the window. However, once her system decided it was time to wake, Amy didn’t have much choice but to comply.
With a heavy sigh, she propped herself up with her elbows and attempted to gather her bearings. This certainly wasn’t her room. Everything was too pristine and organized, made up of light shades. Then the young woman recognized the slow ache in her temples; an inkling of how the night had gone crossed her mind. It wasn’t until Amy turned her body to absorb the environment did she notice the actual ray of sunshine beside her. Oh. OH. Eyes widened as the events of the night before suddenly started to come back to her.
“I’m dead. So very dead.” She leaned forward with her head in her hands, locks dipping down past her shoulders. “Your mom’s going to kill me or exile me. Possibly both.”
