I read your post about death and it brought me to tears. Not sad tears, just... Tears. I found it so beautiful and it just reminded me how remarkable vets are. Next time I'm in town I'll be bringing my local vets a tray of baked goods. You're remarkable. Thank you for everything you do for our best friends.

Hey, I'm wondering if you can give me some tips for propogation? I found this succulent with big leaves (15cmx10cm) and I picked up a healthy looking leaf that had fallen off and have placed it on some succulent soil. I've been giving it some water when the soil seems dry. It's been about 2 weeks now though and there are no signs of roots or sprouting, and the tip of the leaf has just started to soften. I can submit a pic of it if you want. Much appreciation. :)

Some succulents take a while or sometimes they never take. If the leaf’s not fully intact at the base, it won’t root, and sometimes it also just decides not to root. You could gently mist the leaf instead of watering the soil itself if it’s starting to go soft. Good luck!
