“Huh, I wonder if I’m supposed to pump my own gas at this station...” Kyung mused to herself after sitting in her car at one of the town’s gas stations for what seemed like hours.
During her drive, the young woman had somehow managed to find herself arriving into the town of Madison. Even though it was night time, Kyung couldn’t help but feel a bit uneasy at the lack of people on the streets. Whether it was being too accustomed to New York’s bustling crowds, or her intuition was nagging her, she didn’t have much of a choice to drive away unless she wanted to risk getting stranded in the middle of nowhere. As Kyung peered out of her car window, she couldn’t see any sign of gas station employees, yet the lights in the store were on.
“Guess now’s a good time as any to stretch my legs,” She sighed, and shut off the engine before grabbing her backpack, and locking her car once she stepped out.
Deciding not to do anything possibly illegal, Kyung made her way into the gas station store, unaware that there was more danger in the light than there was outside in the dark. As soon as she entered the store, the front door bell chimed, and like animals responding to the ring of a dinner bell, three reptilian-like heads arose from behind the register counter. All three pairs of eyes meeting the young woman’s, making her freeze in place as she stared back at them.
“.......Hiiiii....” She managed to say, mostly out of awkwardness than fear.
