A truly unexpected journey
𝓐fter a long wait she had finally decided to go west. Not all the way, simply far enough to visit Círdan and hear his stories. It had been even more interesting than she could have hoped.
𝓝ow on her way back to her home, she decided to seek another adventure, to finally see the elusive Halflings that Olórin had told her about. He hadn’t told her much, but what he had told her had sounded warm and inviting, and she knew that she wouldn’t travel past Imladris for many years to come. This seemed like an opportune moment.
ℱollowing the roads she eventually arrived at a place that seemed to emit life from it’s very core. The greens from the trees and small hills, the yellow from the flowers, it was as if the colours had been invented in this place alone, and only pale replicas had been shared with the rest of the world outside. 𝓝ow it was clear why Gandalf had had this beatific smile on his lips and in his eyes while talking of this place, and she could only imagine what kind of people it produced. 𝓐nd just as she had finished that, thought she saw a curious little man, a size she usually only knew from children but his features were not that of a one. “ Mae l'ovannen.” she greeted the man before her with a warm smile, before remembering that she was not under her own kind and would most probably not be understood. “ Please forgive me, I meant to say, that I wish you a good day, Sir. My name is Niniell, may I inquire if this is the place called ‘ the Shire’?”
