I never realized how much I hunger for Isaac and Sheriff Stilinski interaction until I started writing it so much in The Gaming Chronicles. Damn, it's so lovely, it should happen everywhere all the time.

Need some fanfic input PLEASE HELP

Anyone who is interested in The Gaming Chronicles series want to send me an ask and discuss some plot related issues with me?

I'm currently stuck with the problem of wanting to have some side-along Teen Wolf plotage taking place, but I don't want it to get too involved or convoluted - just sort of a 'oh no we are freaking out, there is a threat looming' but then something happens or someone does something and then it's taken care of without a huge to-do.

So yeah, basically, I need some kind of idea of how I can bring it in and then push it back out quickly without it being too much.  Sorry if this is confusing, I'll explain more in an ask for anyone who is willing to hear and give ideas.  Thanks, I love you bbs.

Woo!! hold your hats, ladies and gentlemen, as you might get whiplash from the crazed mass popularity that is happening in the stisaac tag. I mean, dayum, it is just hopping!

Well this is something I never expected to see: Stisaac was excluded from a rarepair challenge for being too popular.

HAHAHAHAHAHA.

Now I never sat down and counted up the entries for stisaac week, but the AO3 collection only received 26 posts last year, so I'm not sure where they came up with 98 entries and most of them were fic. I think the whole "the mods don't ship it so we didn't even look at it initially" is the important thing to note there.

And saying our tag is active all the time is BS -  our tag is active with A) RP threads, B) people saying 'send me prompts for 50 ships', C) random scisaac posts that were mis-tagged, D) sterek shit, E) stisaac graphics and fic. Literally how it goes.

Stisaac got missed the first time around for two reasons: it didn’t have much of a turnout last round (12 signups with 2 works produced) and the mods don’t ship it, so we got our initial numbers and then didn’t examine it too closely. However, we’ve given it more attention and found a lot of evidence that says Stisaac could be a risky ship to keep off the nix list. On AO3, it’s actually come to outpace Allydia: overall, it’s the ninth most frequently tagged ship (with 726 fanworks) vs. Allydia’s tenth and 553, and when Sterek is filtered out, Stisaac rises to sixth place with 512 fanworks vs. Allydia’s seventh and 443.

Likewise, Stisaac has a healthy showing on tumblr: the “stisaac” tag is pretty active and although they only have one appreciation blog, it’s very active, boomed during 3b and is getting ready to host the second annual Stisaac week. The last Stisaac week produced 98 fanworks in total, most of which were fic or fic+graphic. The showing for Stisaac during rarepair November was also notably high, in that with sixty-two fanworks produced (and one that was accidentally posted twice), Stisaac really only got beaten by Skittles (at least, offhand mod!Kassie can only name Skittles as a ship that got more attention during rarepair November). Additionally, all but three of those works were exclusively Stisaac (one featured unrequited Scisaac, one was Isaac/Scott/Stiles, and one was Stisaac, featuring Stydia and Allydia).

However, two further points bear considering here: first, Stisaac week took place in the middle of rarepair November and thus, there was a high rate of crossover between the two challenges, with forty-one works being posted to both of them. Second, Stisaac may be a case of a handful of really dedicated shippers creating false impressions of activity/popularity. During our investigations, we found that Stisaac fanwork-creation was hardly limited to any particular group of fans, but that several individuals created a significant portion of the fanworks on Tumblr . (This pattern does not noticably present on AO3)

JFC I started writing the spring break meet up for The Gaming Chronicles and it's like 3k already and they've literally only picked Isaac up and brought him to the house and lsakdjfkls;dfjklsdjfl;s I have no idea how long this is gonna get fuuuuuuuck I guess it's a good thing I started it now jesus.
