headcanon. though her initial intentions with him weren’t physical at all, their relationship has blossomed from trust. she helped him remember how to be human again, what it meant to have human feelings and emotions. he’s one of the lucky few that’s been able to see this side of elizabeth in turn, and to have it given to him so willingly. her affection towards him is genuine and sincere, for the simple reason that the life that is now his wasn’t by choice on his end, but by force. elizabeth is nothing but kind to him, except for when he throws his fits, and even then she’s only firm.
