I didn’t realize it at the time that this photo is a big deal to me. Here I am with Father George, the man who married me to my wife and performed naming ceremonies for my kids at St Michaels Abbey church, spanning the last three decades. Also, I was honoured to be a part of the opening ceremony for the Abbey Medieval Festival. My first AMF was in 1998 but my first one as a performer was 2000, marking 20 years this year since I first “went medieval” at AMF.
