Just curious... but we know Bluestone has an abusive relationship towards Fox and Auburn, but what is her relationship with her mate like? Does Bluestone even love Stoatwhisker? Why did she choose to be mates with him? What does Bluestone even see in Stoatwhisker? What does Stoatwhisker see in Bluestone? Was Stoatwhisker some kind of powerhouse of a warrior back in his days?

when bluestone was young, she was exceptionally quick, fierce, passionate, and ambitious, just about everything you look for in a true bloooded Pineclan cat, and Stoatwhisker fell in love with that. He sought out her out, and while Bluestone usually just turned him away, as she got older she realized no other cat really..liked her like Stoatwhisker did so she finally accepted his affection. Whilst he loved and did everything to make her happy, Bluestone was usually unfazed and dismissive of him. She only tolerated him, snapping at him whenever he became too annoying for her. He grew to become frightened of her.

When they had their kits at a relatively old age, Stoatwhisker was looking forward to raising a family with her because, if she wanted kits, that means she was finally ready to settle and actually really did love him? Well ya’ll know how that turns out.

Stoatwhisker is ashamed and horrified with Bluestones treatment to their daughters, he tries to reason with her and to save his kits from her. He sought out help from his clan, but in accordance to the code, theres little you can do to a queens kits who are still too young to leave her. He reaches out to his daughters many times, but is constantly chased away by Bluestone who now sees him as a worthless excuse of a mate and emphasizes many times he is no longer welcome around them (well foxkit at least, since bluestone doesnt really care for her). He is constantly guilty and feels pathetic at what little he can do for his kits, he’s haunted by this mistake he’s made and later along the line, is too heartbroken and frightened to even TRY to interact with the kits. He is forced out of his kits lives.

it could very well be something similar to ravenpaw and tigerclaw's situation - "oh, their mentor is just a bit rough/short tempered, but they're a GREAT warrior!!! we all trust them!!!! the apprentice is just a bit jumpy :) it has nothing to do with them!" - so if they dont tell anyone, no one would suspect anything. i cant believe how ignorant anon was good god jsaijaidhsuiah

The situation IS very similar to that! Bluestone and Stoatwhisker are very powerful and respectable senior warriors, no one really dares question them
