Stockholmer voice:
"Yes i can seperate the sounds for e/ä, it is just a steorotype that we who speak stockholm accent says have no ä sound, and instead replace it with e".
None - stockholmer
"Ok then, please tell me why you constantly write 'butt' instead of 'only'. And on that topic, which one of enda/ända means 'butt', and which one means 'only'?
Stockholmer
*nervous sweating*
"I can totally tell the difference but sadly i must go right now!"
(Admin note: the stockholmer accent of swedish is well - known in sweden for lacking the ä -sound. Now, as a stockholmer, growing up within this accent, we do not hear it like that we "say e all the time". For us e/ä just happen to have the same sound very often. From our pov we also say e/ä as a mix of the both sounds in spoken language. like we do not see as that we say e instead ä, even if that is what is happening. This leads to confusion when describing our regional accent to speakers of other regional accents of swedish)
