Hellaverse holy yap(consider this as smol Stolas character analysis)
I dont think Stolas is above Vox or Blitz in writing, but he is clearly not the worst either, I saw too many people sleeping on his writing and calling him lame, which is funny to me
Lets begin with his backstory-Stolas was raised by neglectful and maybe verbally(and even physically) abusive father who gave no sh!t to him, and also in very cold society, which is why he lacks social skills and cant control his emotions sometimes-cause he was never taught stuff like why selfcontrol is important and etc
Its to people who says that Stolas is too freaky btw!
So…
I also love when ppl says he cheated on Stella cause when you think about it-its not really cheating
Cheating on partner-is when you both love each other and its revealed that you "betrayed" her/him by sleeping and having ah ah with another guy/gal, which would actually hurt
Stella never loved Stolas or cared about Octavia at all, she is not angry cause Stolas cheated on her, she is angry cause he found someone he actually loves(btw Stella was mocking Stolas BEFORE it happened)
I also surprised how many people says he never loved or cared about Octavia:
He literally says multiple times how much he loves her till Sinsmas Episode
The only reason he took her to Loo Loo Land sh-t then cause when RoboFizz traumatised her-he thought it was tears of happiness, which he stated when they had a talk
The first thing he said after being banished-WHAT ABOUT MY DAUGHTER???
He literally tries to call her for month-which even Stella states directly
And when she leaved him-he almost got into depression again(thx to Blitz it never happened)
OMG STOLAS IS SO SELFISH!!! He literally blamed no one except Stella one time, and it was deserved tho
STOLAS IS BEING SYMPATHISED TOO MUCH!!! HE DESERVED WHAT STELLA AND ANDRE DID TO HIM!!!
By your logic-Angel Dust deserved what Valentino did to him cause he is Mafia Member once
Or that Vox deserved what Alastor did to him cause he is Cult Leader
Or that Blitz deserved absolutely every sh!t he got cause he k!lls people for money
Heck, ppl sympathise with Lute, gal who took huge part in genocide and ENJOYED it, yet cant sympathise with Stolas who barely did anything wrong except being hypocritical sometimes
Also smol detail-Stolas was never taught how to be a parent and etc, cause again he had a noncaring dad, and Goetia only needed a heir, thats all
STOLAS NEVER LOVED BLITZ HE ONLY USED HIM AS SEXTOY!!! Who says that clearly never watched show at all, Stolas HAS feelings for Blitz, and Blitz HAS feelings for Stolas, which was clearly shown and stated in both Seasons, freaky? Vox&Val is freaky yet they love each other
In short-Stolas does not get to Blitz or Vox level of writing-but he is clearly good character
