Okay like holy shit
I'm laying here on my bed cuz I just remembered an obscure graphic novel series I loved as a tween and I miss em so much.
It was like Regular Show but with the vibe of EARLY Lemon Demon songs. Like does ANYONE even remember Stone Rabbit or was it just some big, lovable fever dream?
Thing is we never actually learned the Rabbit's name???? And it has bugged me for YE ARS!!!!
In the end...we all return back to our roots... (They just blew up a building)
I made a whole rant post 2 years ago (in my drafts) about how someone else had discovered Andy Wolf concept art from the defunct Stone Rabbit website and posted it to the fandom Wiki before I did, but honestly, it's better if I share it on here for my own archival purposes and for anybody else who wants to see it. (Andy concept art is on the 4th row!) It's really neat to see Craddock's process with making Pirate Palooza, and I generally just love seeing behind the scenes stuff. (Also there is some formatting issues with the site, but most of the text should be readable.)
He also details the publishing process for a comic and offers some good advice to aspiring artists, so I would definitely give it a read!
I read the first one in this series years ago when I discovered it in the library.Think it was the only one out at the time also.Since then these others were written,drawn,and printed with volume eight being the most recent/final coming out in 2013.So I guess that's been more than a decade if you think about it(And I did the math right).
