🎚🇯🇲🎛🎧 The world houses 7 billion humans and zillions of animals - all with something to offer. Jamaica showed the world, again, why Jamaican & Caribbean Culture is special. Often we are pitted against each other into binaries of superiority & arrogance and into frameworks that one culture is better and superior than another. Bob Marley said thinking this way is the reason why we have war. We People of Color & immigrants are also often made to feel that our culture(s) is 'other' and insignificant - clearly that is misguided on purpose. Culture is the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group. Culture is the arts and other manifestations of human intellectual achievement regarded collectively. So you see everywhere there is culture and Africa, the African Diaspora, and The Native Lands & Peoples of The Americas, and Asians, that all were brought here to develope the West, are Significant. Listen: The universe is big enough to enjoy all cultures and enjoy others. Another culture does not take away from your culture. Earth is 1 family with sub families of People.
