SSHG Fanart Contest

Hello, readers! For those who read my Severus Snape/Hermione Granger work-in-progress In The Shadow Of Your Wings, I am pleased to announce a series of three fanart contests. Contest 1 will occur between January 15 and February 1, 2015. Contest 2 will occur between February 3 and February 18, 2015. Contest 3 will occur between February 20 and March 7, 2015. Each contest must have a minimum of 7 entries or it will bleed into the next contest. Any work is accepted as long as it is in the visual medium and pertains directly to my story (In The Shadow of Your Wings). Each contest (1, 2, and 3) will have a First and Second prize awarded. The first prize will be a $20 Amazon gift card and the second prize will be a $10 Amazon gift card. These will be emailed to the winners upon selection of the winning pieces of work. Links to the winning artwork will also be displayed on my Fanfiction.net profile, my ArchiveOfMyOwn page, and other sites that display my fic. I would also love to see who contributes to these contests, as I may be interested in commissioning works from artists. In The Shadow Of Your Wings by Stonemint

Severus' breathing was ragged and rickety as his slender hands cradled her face. Then he gave her the most stern expression he could manage and whispered, "I thought I told you not to call me 'sir.'"

"I'm sorry," she replied at once, her words carried by a tremulous little sigh. Then she smiled weakly and covered one of his hands with her own much smaller one. "I'll call you whatever you like."

Severus' mouth crashed down against hers. It happened before he could decide to do it, and he knew it was a foolish, reckless thing to do. But it felt undeniably good to kiss her like this, because she tasted like vanilla and honey again. Her lips were soft and her mouth was welcoming, warm and wet and vibrating as she hummed happily against him.

Synopsis: Much was demanded of Severus Snape - to protect Draco, to spy for the Order, to make straight the path for prophesied champions. His orders were clear, from both sides. How exactly, then, did Hermione Granger become so hopelessly enmeshed in all of it? This stubborn witch was never supposed to be his obligation.
