The marauders were defo big time weed smokers. They all have a ritual of smoking the morning after the full moon but they would have other seshes often too.

Remus is generally more reserved but gets super talkative when he’s high, the type of guy who’ll just yap ur ear off 😭 Sirius always listens to him intently and engages with every dumb thing he says or random magical or academic topic he wants to discuss. and Remus takes it for granted until he smokes with just James once, just the two of them and James is just not having it at all lol.

Sirius is the leader of the group in this regard, he picks up the weed, he finds the best spots on the hogwarts campus, he rolls up the spliffs (joints) and he’s always bringing new and different kinds of weed to the sesh. He makes it his responsibility to ensure that the whole group has a good time, especially Remus after a full moon. He makes playlists, finds stoner movies and cool YouTube videos for them to enjoy while they’re high.

James is a cool kid, very much Sirius’ right hand man in this just like everything else. He probably knows a lot of the dealers that Sirius does and has picked up off them on his own occasionally when Sirius couldn’t, and he’s able to roll on his own too if Sirius isn’t there. When Sirius is there, he’s probably helping grind the weed or discussing with Sirius how many spliffs they should make and what they should do etc.

Peter just gets super quiet and giggly when he smokes. Gets a bit paranoid occasionally and Sirius or James gotta calm him down, usually by pulling out some food lol. Peters the main munchies guy of the group, when they’re getting ready for a smoke sesh, Peter’s the guy who will be like ‘but do we have any food? Moony you got any snacks? Guys we don’t have any snacks tho, guys we’re gonna need snacks!!’ And then Sirius just rolls his eyes like ffs I just trekked it all the way to hogsmeade and back to pick up this weed and you’re making it even longer, alright let’s try sneak into the kitchens.
