A well designed garden never fails to delight me no end. This scene is perfect with the border overflowing with soft, pale, apricot colored roses in the front, green and golden yews and hornbeams pruned into symmetrical hedges and shapes and organic forms in the middle and in the back tall trees. Do you see how the golden yew topiary pics up the shape of the stone urn? How cool is that? In this garden a master has been at work planning not for immediate gratification but for long term beauty!
