Wade in Sonic 2 is so funny because duh, he's going to be confused if the new cafe he integrated into his daily routine is suddenly closed. Still, it's the fact that even after seeing the 'closed' sign (and most likely even the F- sanitary inspection grade), he still looks inside because he knows something is clearly wrong. As in, "There's NO WAY that cute barista owner who is so meticulous about everything and literally had an A for his cafe yesterday just stopped!"

Part 2 - Stone’s lies

As Stone got closer to Wade, they began spending a lot of time together. Eventually their meetings and small talk became more romantic and turned into dates. For the agent meaningless, intended only to gain his complete trust and important information about the enemy.

Recently, however, Stone noticed more and more that he was starting to get distracted. The conversations no longer seem merely analytical, focused on extracting information, and time passes pleasantly fast in the company of a smiling deputy.

Yet he persists to ignore this, and the reports he submits to Dr. Robotnik entirely omit this issue.
