How about number 66 for the drabble challenge? :)
66. “How could I ever forget about you?”
How about a AvAc Steve/Tony drabble? :)
Steve didn’t fall asleep while studying all that often. But the classes, the fighting, the dancing and the constant campus invasions were wearing away at him. He started blinking, then yawning, next time he knew he’d drifted off for a couple of hours.
Tony!
He was supposed to be meeting up with Tony at the blasting range an hour ago. Sort of a date, Steve had optimistically thought when Tony agreed. Even it wasn’t like an official date thing.
He dropped his head in his hands at his desk. Oh no, Steve sort of, kind of, was getting there developing a thing with Tony. Their Thing, like lunch together, walking to class together, watching Steve punch a tank together thing.
He was a complete idiot. Tony probably hated him now, thinking the worst of him, or indifferent because Steve couldn’t pull it together enough to ask him out for coffee. Steve had been proud of himself for at least suggesting the blasting range thing.
After a quick (and thorough) search around campus, Steve still hadn’t found Tony and no one could tell him where he was. He smacked his forehead and headed right back to Stark Tower – Tony had a little-used back-up workshop there. Tony was lending his current workshop to Riri and Shuri.
And that’s where he found Tony, welding armor parts together.
But before Steve could say anything, Tony pushed his googles up and stared at Steve. “Oh no! What time is it?” He looked wildly around the room for a watch or anything to tell time.
“It’s three in the afternoon,” Steve said, standing there and rubbing the back of his neck.
“Whew, right. Wait, we had a thing today – you and me? Blasting range or something?” Tony’s face went pale. “How could I ever forget about you?”
“At least you had an excuse. I, um, fell asleep –”
Tony was wiping grease off his hands and face. “Hey, no biggie. Let’s just grab coffee at Club A instead.”
Steve froze in place. “You’re asking me out for coffee.”
“Yeah. Guess am I. Beats the blasting range, Cap, for dates.” Tony smiled at Steve.
Happy birthday :)
Thank you very much! I had a great one.
(Nice to see you around Tumblr these days.)

so sad I missed it....sounds like a great episode to watch.
Hope you can catch it -- it will probably be up in all the usual spots in a few hours!
Number 4 and 8 :)
Awwww, thanks for asking!
4) favorite character you’ve written
Well, this one is easy – I love writing Steve. I have a lot of Steve people in my life (the main Steve, the side Steve, and baby!Steve) and I’ve got a bit of Steve as well. Steve is kind of hard to write – he’s not the most verbal of people and I get the sense that he’s not all that much in touch with his inner Steve a lot of the time. He is used best in stories that challenge his understanding of the world or his values, etc. – sometimes those can be hard to write. I particularly like stories where he’s super confident in one area (in MCU he took out an elevator of fighting people) but is not confident in others, like relationships (oh gosh, so many examples of this).
I find Tony to be very difficult to write – he is kind of the opposite of my personality and I have to challenge myself writing him so that he doesn’t end up insubstantial. Tony is a person too! with feelings and all that. He’s a great character in that he’s verbal so it’s easier to write him since he’ll likely talk about feelings more readily than Steve.
8) favorite genre to write
My go to genre seems to be romantic action adventure – I love that stuff so I like writing it. And I’ve written a lot of it.
I love humor/comedy – that’s so much harder to write though so it takes me sometime to work out the humor. I wish I could be better at it.
But strangely one genre that I seem to have a talent for is hard-boiled noir/detective fiction – I’ve been meaning to write something along those lines for Steve/Tony for sometime (Tony is like the owner of this seedy night club and Steve the bouncer he hires and Steve’s got this mysterious past that threatens to take down Tony but Tony looovveeees him and … well, you get the picture). I’ve written a couple of stories in this vein – the Casablanca story, the mafia au, and then there was a Stucky fic.

I just saw Thor today and really liked it too! It's going to be interesting to see what's going to happen in IW...
I KNOW!
I loved the humor but there was a lot of dark stuff in the story that clearly ties into IW. I nearly melted when I saw the tagline for Thor will return in IW.

This was wonderful! I love reading about them before they became the Avengers especially with Steve and Tony. Poor Stevie, I wanted to hug him but everything worked out for him in the end :))
Thank you very much! It means a lot to me to hear this -- and I’m really glad you enjoyed the story!
