Yall okay, so i was watching the moomins and ep 13 The Last Dragon on Earth is so good.

The way Snufkin says that the cards say if he catches 5 minnows, it's time to travel south.

he easily befriends moomin's dragon and moomin releases the dragon because it likes snufkin more

And the dragon flying to Snufkin.. and Snufkin catches the 5th minnow... and Snufkin sends the dragon down river with a passerby

Snufkin lies to Moomin about the dragon to stop Moomin from being hurt

and Snufkin, who goes where he wants when he wants, tells Moomin he didn't catch a single minnow and so he's going to stay (until winter).

Because he loves Moomin so much, and Moomin would be so saddened if the dragon and especially if Snufkin had left.
