4. How would they describe one another?
I’ll let them answer in their own words on this one. It’s easier that way.
Myrlana: Cullen is... magnificent. He’s so strong and compassionate yet he doesn’t realize it. He’s managed to actually learn from his past and become more empathetic because of it, which is incredible. And he’s handsome. That’s certainly important. Oh, and tall. Really tall.Cullen: She’s an incredible leader and manages to balance kindness and ruthlessness. She’s made the Inquisition into something I’m proud to serve. And, well, she’s also beautiful and her smile, Maker, I would do anything to see that smile... I, uh, I hope that answers the question.
Ylleth: He seems quiet at first, but Solas thinks about everything. And he’s really intelligent so what he says is worth listening to. There’s definitely a depth to him.Solas: Ylleth is like a candle in an otherwise dark room: vibrant and captivating.
Elissa: Hmm, I would either describe Alistair as a puppy or a knight from a romantic ballad. Depends on the moment.Alistair: Elissa? Well, obviously she’s a goddess. She’s awesome and beautiful and proud. A bit scary sometimes. But really she’s the good kind of goddess, the kind that loves people.
Eliza: Kaidan is like home. Home is where all your favorite things are and where you’re comfortable being yourself. That’s Kaidan.Kaidan: Eliza is like a river. Powerful and inexorable and if you aren’t careful, she’ll sweep you away.
Malika: He’s just so fucking huge!Bull: Red hair, great tits, clever mouth.
19. What would they do if the other person was hurt?
Myrlana/Cullen: Cullen’s had to deal with Myrlana being hurt a time or two since she does a lot of fighting. He doesn’t take it well though. He worries. He wishes he could be by her side watching her back. He also knows that she will push herself too hard when she’s recovering so he gets a bit overprotective. It’s probably good he’s not fighting by her side all the time though since she’s a reaver so injury is something that happens to her a lot (and she just doesn’t tell him). Myrlana hasn’t really had to deal with Cullen being seriously injured, but I imagine she would freak out. Even worse than him. She’s lost her entire clan--her whole life up until the beginning of Inquisition--she is not about to lose her love.
Ylleth/Solas: Solas would be the type that is outwardly calm but then stays up all night by her bedside just to make sure she’s still with him. Ylleth would hover. She would snap at the healers one minute and burst into tears the next. She’s kind of emotional.
Elissa/Alistair: Alistair would firmly believe that Elissa would pull through whatever injury. He couldn’t let himself think otherwise because he can’t envision a life without her. He’d stay by her side though and make jokes about how sexy her scars will be. Elissa would be no nonsense with Alistair, telling him to stop whining, but when he’s asleep she’s going over whatever fight he got hurt in in her head over and over trying to figure out what she could have done to protect him (even though he’s the one with the shield).
Eliza/Kaidan: Kaidan holds her hand and thinks of all the times he’s thought he’s lost her and knows that if he loses her this time, it’s over for him. He wills her to pull through. Eliza thinks about how much she needs Kaidan, how losing him would destroy her then she feels guilty for making it about her. She’s not good at staying at his bedside actually; she’d spend a lot of time in the gym or shooting range expressing her worry with physical violence.
Malika/Bull: Malika is actually fairly philosophical about it. She’ll do whatever she can to make sure Bull’s injuries are cared for, but she doesn’t panic or worry about losing him. She loves him, but she knows nothing lasts forever. I think Bull would get very very drunk, and then once the hangover was gone, he’d be there making sure Malika had what she needed and doing whatever he could.
