Adelaide's little brother was born today. And just when I thought I was cool with this whole thing, I find out my ex and his new wife gave their son the same name her father and I had talked about using if we ever had a son. A name we'd had picked out since we were in college. I have no idea where to file this information in my emotional register. Am I angry? Hurt? Horrified? Do I find it funny in a twisted way? Probably all of these in varying percentages. I am a pie chart made of quick sand.
