I”m done chasing after people. I used to do that a lot. I would always be the first one to make an initiative to hang out or talk, and it left me feeling so shitty. I deserve someone who reaches out to me just as much as I reach out to them. And if this new mentality means that I have less friends and don’t go out as often, then so be it. I would rather be alone vs having people in my life that don’t appreciate my worth.
