This is my argument in a nutshell. We have put far, far too much money, time, and blood into things that flat-out were none of our stinking business to start with. If those countries had actually WANTED to become more like us, they would have attempted it on their own. Instead, we tried to force our lifestyle on them and they reacted predictably by gagging and vomiting it back on us in terms of violence and hatred. Why are we so surprised that 9/11/2001 happened? We asked for it. Please note: I am not saying don't defend our friends. A good example of that would be the Crimea in Ukraine. Of course, we would help them out. But this endless war crap has got to stop.
