I think of my body as a house: I’m not living in the wrong one, it just needs some remodeling to make it comfortable.
That sounds like a good perspective to have :)

I don’t know what you look like but I’m sure you’re cute and I would adopt you.
So would that make you transparent?
stopgivingthemthings replied to your post “Honestly, I’m happy these ED posts aren’t getting me unfollowed yet xD...”
I read that as Eating Disorder at first and was very confused.
Wow yeah that changes the meaning a little bit

anon, if you tell us which tv show you have been on, you’re not so anonymous anymore
heh
Here’s a positive: I have an unfinished post explaining my ideas for an alternative framework for how to play with submissiveness. Someone told me it helped them explain themselves to others.
I’m not entirely sure what this means but yay?? xD Good for you :3
Since you named one of the most important concepts in my life - do you have any advice on naming concepts? (I’m working on a framework to think about submissiveness outside the contexts of bdsm and even sexuality in general, and am stuck using bdsm terminology even to name it, which seems appropriative because I choose not to be a member of that subculture. (Yes, I am aware of rolequeer, which is something slightly different.))
...you’re far too kind. seriously. ^^;
i’m afraid i don’t really have any advice, though... i’ve always had a thing for linguistic stuff, having majored in it in college and having spent my free time in high school/college learning languages and inventing my own for the fun of it. coining maverique was an extension of that.
that said, i do recommend checking out anagnori’s post on derivational morphology and coining words. there’re also a lot of resources at the end of that post that are also worth checking out.
wishing you all the best! it sounds like you’ve got quite the task ahead of you, but putting a name to things can be as fun as it is difficult, imho. i’d offer more commentary on the concept that you are trying to put into words, but i’m afraid i know nothing about submissiveness in any context...
Headcanons about Luna’s life after Hogwarts?
Hi stopgivingthemthings, thanks so much for the question. It was lovely of you to ask.
Here are a few thoughts:
After graduating, Luna stayed at home with her father for a bit, and helped with The Quibbler. It was her father’s hope that she would take over the family business, and never leave his side. Luna, however, had a thirst for adventure. In a compromise with her dad, she agreed to serve as a “roving reporter” for The Quibbler, seeking out stories that involved mystery and exploration. Ultimately, she single-handedly discovered the existence of two different creatures believed to be extinct.
Harry stayed in regular contact with Luna, because simply talking things over with her significantly helped his post-traumatic stress disorder. Ginny and Luna had become even greater friends in their seventh year, and Ginny completely understood Luna’s calming influence on Harry.
The only time any of her friends had ever seen Luna cry is when Ginny and Harry told her that they were naming their daughter Lily Luna.
I’ll think about posting something longer at a later date. Thanks for the prompt.
What if you want to make your blog accessible to anyone who is logged in, but hidden from anyone who is not logged in? (Preventing blocked users from seeing your posts by logging out, without stopping harmless strangers from seeing whether your blog might be interesting.)
Unfortunately at the moment this isnt possible - it's all or nothing on the ask-to-follow thing, but we can definitely see how this would be useful (it's one of the failures of twitter's block system, that people can just log out and read your tweets), so it's something to think about post-release.
