So some good news for a change! For those who didn't see the updates to the last help post, my mom's food stamps card was deactivated at some point before the 1st of this month (she was supposed to have had a new card mailed to her for security reasons, but we never got it; she still has her food stamp balance in her account though). We got in touch with the agency in charge of food stamps, made sure all her info was correct, got her on the online portal as well, and we are getting a new card mailed out that should arrive just a few days after mine. I was fortunate enough to have one of my loans not go through so I had money to put towards food on the 3rd so we'll be fine until I get my stamps on the 8th, food wise.
We had to pay one overdue credit card bill in full yesterday, and I had to pay half of our internet bill to make our home internet didn't get shut off, so that was money I had meant to use for the car that I was unfortunately forced to spend on bills. We have $330 for the car, and we have plans to have it towed to our mechanic on Monday (I have AAA so I get, like, six free tows a year and so does my mom, and we've only used one so far since our new member ship cycle started). If my friend can send a $75 Uber gift card I can send my mom to the mechanic in an Uber with her walker while I go with the tow truck driver and the car, then we can take an Uber back together. If not, I need to come up with $75 to add to our Uber/get an Uber card for $75.
The big bill I need to come up with money for is my remaining storage unit, which is $280 due on the 10th before they add a late fee. I also have about $100 in microloan payments I need to pay, $179 I owe to PayPal on my account for a purchase they paid for that I couldn't cover at the time, and $150 in credit card payments due the 17th. I would also love to pay extra on my electric bill and finish paying off the balance on the internet bill, which would be around $225. So any help with all of that would be much appreciated, as would any purchases on our Amazon wish list (especially Glucerna and other food items).
