What was with the weather lately? Out of nowhere another storm had started and Bud had squeezed themself into a hollow spot under a tree wrapping vines around some of it’s roots.

Cheshy didn’t like rain too much, and especially not storms, but he had gotten the feeling he really needed to go out there for some reason. Hiding under his umbrella he walked outside to see Uma; he tilted his head and walked over, “Uma, what are you doing out in this storm?”

[Caught in a storm - meme continuation | @prettyboygcnius ]
Riley tapped her fingers on her leg, eyes trying to see past the torrents of water pouring from the sky. The radio had said they were under a flash flood warning, and it was easy to see why. The ditches on the side of the road had been quickly filling and that was even before the sun had set. Now they were an hour into it, keeping pace with the storm as it rolled. But there was a case to solve and they had to get there. Riley and Reid had stayed behind at the previous town’s morgue to get the ME report while the rest of the team drove three hours north to set up HQ in the next victim’s town. Meanwhile, Riley and Reid had ridden mostly in silence, as Riley’s mind was preoccupied with the storm. When she had lived in the midwest as a teen, she and her mother had been caught in a tornado that ripped the roof off of their apartment building and killed an older couple that lived just upstairs from them. Of course, this was not common knowledge, and she mostly hid her fear of the storm because she felt sometimes that she was afraid of everything. As long as it was just rain, she was okay. It was the thunder, lightning, and worst of all, the wind, that put her on edge.
When Reid pulled over, a part of her was grateful, as it meant they wouldn’t crash and burn, but another part thought they would get picked up in a tornado and tossed around like a rag doll. “Yeah, you should call him.” She muttered in agreement before forcing a smile. “Tell him we’re not in Kansas anymore.” Ah the humor. The mask she was all too good at wearing.

It was not uncommon anymore for Sonia to attempt to do something nice for her classmates at Ryoutei and receive scorn or humiliation in return. She wondered if, in a way, it was a game for Kanato Sakamaki: for her to fulfill his favors and yet somehow get them wrong. But she wasn't so high and mighty that she'd refuse an innocent request like a cup of tea. She merely wanted to make friends where she could. But when her cup of sweet milk tea hadn't been hot enough for his liking, Kanato had retaliated by ripping her brooch right off her uniform and throwing it, hard as he could, into the school's front courtyard.
So she'd spent her free period outside with a flashlight, frantically looking for her precious heirloom. She couldn't bear to lose it: it was a gift from her grandmother, lent out from the collection of Novoselic crown jewels. But her task had been made harder with the arrival of storm clouds over the school, dark skies opening to a particularly loud, lightning-filled storm that caused her to shake, in fear and from the chill that had started to set in. Soaking wet from head to toe, Sonia crawled on her hands and knees in the courtyard's mud, refusing to stop until-
"Y-yes! Finally!" She shouted in triumph, holding up the sapphire stone laid in gold. Clutching it to her chest, she'd managed to forget how cold and messy she was until she noticed a pair of green eyes focused on her from somewhere dry.
"It's just Kanato-san playing jokes again!" She waved to Ayato before shivering. Her uniform, dripping and sticking to her skin, was not enough to keep her warm. There was no point in racing for shelter now: she couldn't imagine becoming more drenched in the night's unfortunate weather forecast.

(I couldn’t find a description of your muse…)
The flash lit up the room for a long second. Then all of the lights went out, followed by a boom so loud it literally rattled the building.
Vivian found herself huddled under her desk, being climbed by a litter of frightened kittens. “MERDE!” the veterinarian gasped, trying to stop trembling. “What the HELL was that?” She barely recognized her own voice.
The equally shaken voice of her client answered her from across the pitch black room. “Uh… I believe that was thunder…”
As if to underscore the statement, another flash lit the room, followed a second later by another clap of thunder, this one not quite as loud, but still enough to make Vivian cringe and the kittens mew in protest.
“Ah…” Vivian tried to count her feline supplicants by touch. There were four of them, and she managed to gather the kittens together into her lap. “Is that all.” She winced as another combination of lightning then thunder made the kittens dig their tiny claws into her legs.
Her client chuckled, and despite the noise and being used as a combination of pincushion and climbing pole, Vivian managed to relax a bit.
“Well, at least it seems to be moving away… Are the kittens okay?”
“Fine, as far as I can tell.” Vivian sniffed, her nose telling her that at least one of the kittens had peed on her. Well, Vivian had almost peed on herself, so she wasn’t terribly surprised.
And, the storm did seem to be moving away. The next thunderclap was tolerable, the one after that a mere growl.
A moment later, the lights came back on.
Vivian needed her client’s help to climb out from under her desk without dropping any of the kittens, and in detaching them from her scrubs so that they could go back to their mother. Thank goodness Vivian had finished giving them their shots before the storm started!
She and her client looked at each other as Vivian handed the now calm mother cat and kittens back. They laughed.
“Go ahead and put that notice on the bulletin board. I’m sure these little guys will find good homes. And bring the mom back in before she goes into estrus again, she should be spayed.”
Her client nodded. “I will.” She peered down at the mother cat. “Matter of fact, I may be keeping her.” She caught Vivian’s eye again, grinning. “I think I’ll name her ‘Storm.’”
Send ☔ for my muse to let yours stay overnight because there is a terrible storm outside.
Taking a deep breath. Emma backed up from the window. “Storm getting worst.” She stated.
The rain she had no problem with. The lighting and thunder she has no problem with. The wind she had no problem with. All together. There is a problem.
Hearing a loud banging from trees outside of the small shack she rented, Emma jumped. A soft yelp left her throat.
☁ ((may or may not be redundant but ayyyy))
There was thunder outside the Tavern. The lighting struck on occasion bringing about a shaking crash. He couldn’t sit still. Unlike usual. Generally he was as composed and calm as a lake. As steady as a soft flowing current. This was always an issue. When the clouds rolled in and electricity filled his core. He had to move. To do… something.Tavis ran a long finger idly over the rim of his mug then stopped. Staring into space trying to calm the jolts that threatened to touch his magic. He wanted to reach out. To pull it and caress it. He gritted his teeth. His fingernails tapped idly along the wooden table. Rapping in a rhythmic motion as they struck the surface. He glanced at Sam then looked away. Tap. Tap. Tap.He looked over at Sam more fully now. His eyes glimmering as the lightning struck again.
