Stormy:

She has 3 siblings, and she’s the second oldest!

I like to think my other oc, Regina, is descended from her

She was actually inspired by the character Waterlily, in thebook of the same name by Ella Cara Deloria

She is currently about 24 years old! She was born in October

She gained the right to tattoo her face after becomingmarried, because her step father is a head-man, and her grandfather is avillage crier (so like, kind of like a town crier)

Otter:

Grew up in what is now southern Alberta and Northern Montana

Very good at horse riding

Likes to roam around on her own actually

Very independent and self-sufficient, like a literalpowerhouse

18: What is yourOC’s dream job?

I think Stormy just wants to have a good life, no matterwhat she does! But she probably wants to be successful with her quillwork, andlet it be traded throughout different bands and tribes. Otter, I think, strivesto be brave and be something of a warrior, maybe like Running Eagle. She wantsto protect others and people she loves.

19: Your OC’slife is a musical. What’s the title of their big show-stopping song?

If I had to assign a song to a story I wrote about them, itwould be “Pimatisiwin” by Young Spirit

6:  Describe your OC’s love life.

Otter and stormy are absolutely in LOVE. At first StormWoman’s love life isn’t really.. a love life. She basically marries a husbandmoreso out of obligation than anything, and he’s kind of a shit. He’s lazy andwon’t hunt for her or help build buffalo pounds at first, so this is where shegets really good at trapping for herself. But then she meets Otter and is just fuckingsmitten with her, and Otter is suave, but Stormy is shy (˘v˘) Lol Otter stealsback Storm’s horses from her ex husband and they run off back home together. Aftershe divorces her husband, she marries Otter and they raise her baby together!They’re just very in love. 

7: Describe your OC’s fashion sense.

They’re both very fashionable! Storm woman makes almost allof her own clothes, and when she marries Otter, she makes hers too! On specialoccasions, Stormy will paint her forehead with red paint, and paint her lipblack. Otter wears a lot of red, she’s basically a butch Lesbian. I always imagine Storm woman wearing thisdress for some reason! 

9. Your OC is having a nightmare. What is it?

If storm woman has nightmares, I imagine its something like disappointingher family, or anything having to relate to her family, particularly her youngerbrother, Little-Man. She’s very close to him, but kinship laws dictate that sincehe’s getting older, he’ll have to spend less and less time with her as he growsup. He always tries to find excuses to talk or be with her though, like askingher to braid his hair after deliberately messing it up lol.  Otter, on the other hand, I think she’d dreamabout something like being raided by other tribes or something to that effect!

12. What does your OC give another OC for their birthday? 

Stormy would give otter something useful or something towear regularly, so she could show off her wife. uwu perhaps some finely quilledmoccasins, definitely something to make other people jealous! Storm-woman isdamn good at quillwork and she knows it, and knows other people do too. Otter would do something big and givestormy a horse she stole from a neighboring band or something lmao

14.  What is one of your OC’s secrets?

One of Stormy’s secrets is how insecure she actually is! I thinkpeople probably see her as confident and standoffish, but she’s very concernedwith pleasing her family and her obligations as a daughter, a sister, a wife, amother. She just never says it. A secret of Otter’s is basically just her backstory—shedoesn’t tell anyone really what her life was like before she meets them, butshe tells Stormy!! Like for example, she’s mixed Cree-Blackfoot, and this isn’tnecessarily a secret, but she’s just kinda discreet about her life lol
