I’ve started an Age of Sigmar fic. It’s only a prologue for now, but hopefully not for long. Gonna involve mostly OC Stormcasts doing Stormcast things. This is my first project like this. Wish me luck.

My 4/5th Liberator is done! I sat on that thing for WEEKS ugh, I hate when I get into a painting funk and do nothing! But it’s done (aside from a few touchups needed) but for the time being, she’s going in the case and I am focusing 100% on my Admech!!!!!!

Rolling into February with a few new HQ choices done for my Stormcasts. Vandus (left), Astreia (right) and Bastian (below) all join the fray in my armies dark blues and red cloaks.

Characters have always been easier to paint and it’s kinda annoying how many of them I can paint faster than a full squad of 10 troops. But I also feel like it’s this army. They’re more curvy and organic than space marines. I don’t know. They’re super awesome and fun to paint.

I did their test model in March of 2021 and shorty after a lord Aquilor on a Gryph-Charger. Thinking I’d get lots of them done. I was wrong. However with 2022 in, a private little 1v1 with Warhammer TVs Peachy, and a local month painting competition. I’m feeling like I’ll get at least 14 done. I’d say a dozen but Bastian and Astreia were extras I finished in January.

She’s a little sloppy compared to my test model for the army, but I’m still content with her. The reds blues and browns are where they’re suppose to be.

I really love my stormcasts. Idk why I went with them. They weren’t my first choice. But, the mixed sexes in the army was a nice appeal. Most mini armies from GW are all male, or all female. But the stormcasts host both. And I’ve seen some ideas of non binary individuals floating around.

And I needed a break from 40k.
