It was a school field trip, and she was excited to get out of a stuffy classroom for once. And at least a museum seemed interesting enough. A building full of artifacts, from all points of history. It’s rather new and exciting for her, compared at least to the rest of the class. Most others seemed bored by it.
The teen wanders into the building among the crowd, but quickly finds herself eagerly separating to investigate all on her own. Vases, paintings, and old weapons... She pauses, staring up at a huge tapestry, illustrating a scene she has no context for. Monsters, and people, locked in battle for hundreds of years.
She peers over it, confused and pondering it for a long time before moving on to a display of old swords. Technology on this planet seems to be so primitive. Aja presses her face close to the glass of the case, investigating it. It says no touching, but she really, really wants to look at it closer. Nothing about it was as well made as her serrator. But.... It was interesting. People passed by her, but they’re being ignored in favor of looking at the craftsmanship.
“How did people even deal with using these...” She mumbles to herself.
