Geomagnetic Storm
SW: Day 12
“12th: Write a story about your character from the perspective of an object, thing, or animal.”
The grass was sweeter up here in the mountains, he thought to himself as his velvety lips nibbled at the wild shoots around his feet. It was cooler than it was down on the flat lands, not that it bothered him - he had a nice thick coat to keep him warm. He swished his tail lazily, grazing contentedly until a sharp laugh caused him to flick forward his scruffy ears and lift his eyes to look at the two-legs with their matching hair of fire and spotted skin.
What a curious pair they were. He wasn’t sure what he thought of this tall and gangly newcomer, but his master seemed to like him enough. He was all limbs and he moved awkwardly when he wasn’t atop that foul smelling felbeast. He smelt of fel too, Stormherald didn’t like it but she seemed not to take notice of it so he stuck to expressing his displeasure with a stamp of a hoof or a snort when the demonic pair got too close.
His master, however, she was the opposite. She was a stocky little thing, but she was strong and proud like he was. He would not allow another to ride him to battle like she - this stubborn two-leg who’d wrestled with him in the mud until he’d huffed and puffed and given up. She who had raised him from a foal, hand feeding him where his mother would not. Countless times now they had faced the stench of death and war together, and now she had him following this..this...leaf picking long ear around. Where was the danger? He could feel his master was expectant, waiting. She felt tense when she sat on his back - not relaxed like she was when they galloped through the woods of Eversong together.
He snorted. He did not understand the motions of two-leg friendship, or courting. Why didn’t they just rut and get it over with? He raised his great head and tossed his mane, earning a curious look from his curly eared master before she placed her hands on her hips and said something in their language he did not understand. She was looking down at the leaf picker, an eyebrow raised like she was awaiting an answer. It came sharp and displeased, and he flattened his ears back and huffed through his nostrils.
Two-legs. So confusing.

New character for ROS. Her bio isn’t finished yet, so she’s not official, but I am still proud to introduce ya’ll to Polar Vortex
Once again I decided to partake in a challenge that involved drawing 6+ intricately rendered headshots right around band camp
