orion is a fun one because in his worldstate if you ask him this his political answer is of course his parents/mom, but that's not true. he doesn't really look up to anyone, he's just following orders. he does well as a soldier bc he's expected to, not out of any kind of aspirational feeling.

Idk why but sometimes I just miss them a lot and when the shance fandom was active. All the fan art and fics were amazing… I guess I just thought of them and then BOOM! Spamming y’all with fan art about things we never got to see in the show between them :’)

Oh! For the ask game N

N: Is there a fic you wish someone else would write (or finish) for you?

- Ahhhhh, there are so many fics out there I want to see! Though, to be honest, I started this one fic when I first came to the fandom over a year ago that I *cannot* find the inspiration to finish and I'd gladly give it to anyone who wanted to finish it.

But oh my gosh, every time I see a piece of fanart, my brain goes 'did someone write that?' and I have to check! Because honestly, this fandom is so talented, I want to see/read it all

DIN GOES APESHIT!!!!

jagsjadgf oh yeah ok so i'm definitely never gonna finish this one but i started writing it right after mando chapter 14 (the tragedy) aired and it was the result of all of us speculating about how din would get grogu back from the empire paired with my intense need to have din refer to grogu as his son and see din, you guessed it, go absolutely fuckin' apeshit.

anyway i didn't get very far at all, but here's a snippet:

“It doesn’t belong to you.”

Din isn’t aware of his body moving until he feels the Imp choking under his palm where he has her pinned to the wall by the throat. His vibroblade rests dangerously close to her pulse, which he can feel pounding under his thumb. For the first time in days, his hand doesn’t shake.

“He doesn’t belong to anyone,” he grits out from between clenched teeth. He presses the blade into her skin, harsh and sure as anything, and drops of red bloom from under the knife’s edge.

“Where,” he nearly growls, “is my kid?”
