Apparently the GShade devs have decided to "own" someone by installing malware in the latest GShade update. Because they don't want someone using a "competitor" of their free software that is a fork of ReShade to begin with.

So yeah. Twitter is in a meltdown over this, as you might imagine.

Save your presets and uninstall from the file folder, not the launcher, as it'll force you to install an update (with the malware on it!) first.

Which'll restart your system if you try to use something other than GShade.

FFXIV My Characters!

I've been playing ffxiv since last you saw me (like... I play it a lot) and I've amassed quite the cast overtime, so I thought I'd share a bit about a few of them.

Taren Agandir - An adventurous soul that thrives on exploring all that Eorzea has to offer. He's immensely skilled with a bow and arrow, but has also taken up apprenticeship in the Skysteel Manufactory, learning all about fire arms. (His name isn't like most miqo'te as he dropped his tribe's name after running away and took on a new name as he grew up.)

Nana - A hardworking lalafell that helps her adoptive highlander father run a tavern in the Black Shroud. She's assertive, boisterous, and unyielding even in the most stressing of tasks. She's a good friend of Taren's as they're a part of the same adoptive family.

Laroul Garrish (or just Lar) - Lar is also a part of Taren and Nana's family. The three of them were raised by the same father since they were young. And throughout all that time, Lar has been quite the clumsy and reluctant fellow. Despite all the rough patches and mistakes he makes, he still pulls through with loyalty and a good heart.

Adrian Landritheux - Don't cross blades with this young duskwight if you don't want to deal with a shouty and ill tempered lad. His life has been once hardship after another, being an orphan, being raised by thugs, and being used to his limit. He's not perfect, but Adrian doesn't let that stop him from finding meaning in all of his strife. Avidia Lux Varus - Indeed, this woman here is a garlean. Cold and commanding, Avidia oversees a project she's worked most of her life to achieve - one that deals in harnessing the primal power of Bahamut. She will do anything to achieve her goal, so do not stand in her way.

Bato Shirogane - A savant of healing practices and knowledgeable in the aetherial arts, Bato has gone from every corner of the star searching for new discoveries and techniques to hone his skills. He is calm and collected, now living with his wife peacefully in La Noscea. But how peaceful can it really get? I hope you enjoyed my little showcase here! Maybe I'll post more screenshots in the future~
