oh i havent thought about khya in ages!

the idea for her is that she was a high priestess/lover for a goddess in ancient times, and in an extremely turbulent time her goddess granted her immortality. but that was the beginning of the death of the gods from that civilization (going off the idea that lack of belief can kill gods) so her goddess lost her powers as her followers trickled off. eventually she lost so much power she essentially died, leaving only a spark of divinity in khya left.

so now all khya has left of her goddess is her gift of immortality as she watches the world forget the gods ever existed and change around her <3

i use only a few mods for baldur’s gate 3, so far:

customisable starting equipment

you can decide on your starting equipemt -- i.e. armour, boots, weapons, potions and so on -- you want your bg3 protag to have right from the start of the game and can customise it to your liking.

customiser legacy

a mod that adds several different options to your character creator so that you can further personalise your bg3 protag and enhance your experience with the game.

improved ui

does what it says on the tin.

alternate tattoos

adds more tattoo choices to the character creator. 

in general, i can only recommend checking out the bg3 nexus. it’s relatively active for an early access game. there are many more mods that might be to your liking!

thank youuuu liza!! (28 swapped out to 27 as requested) this took me AGES to get to because my braincell left me, but i recovered it and decided to roll for the ships because i’m notoriously an indecisive bi and ended up with jorina/aleksi & the thottycule ((aka maeve/dietrich/grey/ilya)) // aleksi & dietrich belong to @darlingicarus; grey & ilya belong to @derelict-heirs // romance asks

8. What are their most prominent memories of each other?

JORINA/ALEKSI — jorina’s a dork and a lot of her treasured memories would have to be of the Firsts that they had as a couple, because she’s not experienced in relationships and it’s all very special to her getting to have those first experiences with him. they’re prominent in her mind because they’re all filled with heaps of affection and comfort and a love finally given the chance to properly grow. (i don’t know what their first date was, but that’s probably her favorite.) i don’t know for aleksi so instead i’m gonna clown on him and make the joke that the most prominent memories of jorina for him are all of those times she got blushy/flirty/jealous around him and he just completely brushed them off as a “crush that would go away soon” and then it Didn’t because it’s funny 🥰

THOTTYCULE — given that there are too many thots here, i’ll just go with maeve’s to preserve sanity and channel all of my willpower not to make these sex goofs. her most prominent memories of dietrich would be any time that he’s initiated physical affection or said something soft, because those things aren’t exactly part of his M.O. and she cherishes those moments of gentleness/vulnerability when she can get them. it’s so fucking dorky but standout memories of grey are of them smiling/laughing together, nobody look @ her and perceive the adoration she has for sweetness just focus on the lusty bard aspect ok. literally how am i expected to pick her most prominent memories of ilya when this man has looked at her like she puts the stars in the sky from day one? it’s sickening how love-filled all those memories are. i don’t know, that time ilya killed some bad guys with his bare hands to protect her was pretty fucking memorable and highkey attractive

11. Do they have any inside jokes?

JORINA/ALEKSI — probably quite a few given the time they've spent together, and humor was a good way for aleksi to get closer to jorina at the beginning when she was incredibly withdrawn. what are they about, you ask?? i have no idea. but they either annoy alyssa or she's in on them, there's no in-between. 

THOTTYCULE — 100%. no doubt in my mind about this given that there are four of them and they all have time spent together before any polycule formed, which only added More jokes to the pile. and i think they'd all be ridiculously aware of the history behind each running joke even if they weren't there for its origin, because i think it's funny if they reference jokes that they weren't even originally part of and have to explain that in conversation.

14. Is their anything they associate with each other?

JORINA/ALEKSI — oh boy, i’m not entirely sure for this one. i’d say an obvious one is that jorina associates fire with aleksi because of his magic and soft feelings of him bringing her warmth, and then whatever type of flower he once tucked behind her ear. an obvious thing that aleksi could associate with jorina would be maps of any kind and sketches of plant/wildlife, as well as some of the constellations that she taught him about. 

THOTTYCULE — things maeve associates with dietrich: hoods, blades, tomes and the certain type of quiet one falls into while thinking of what to say. with grey: masks, good food, warm tones, smiles that fill you with a pleasant warmth. with ilya: libraries, writings on soulmates, forest clearings, arms that make you feel safe while around you. things they could associate with maeve: the color purple, ink and parchment, soft blankets, touches so assuring they make you believe everything will be alright.

27. What makes you excited about their relationship?

JORINA/ALEKSI — [holding the scouts in my arms] i just think they're neat :)  i'm also a fan of the joys to be found in their opposites attract vibes, plus the encouraging and teaching each other about things that they wouldn't have thought about before. 

THOTTYCULE — they're an excuse to have fun talks with the wifeys 💜 and listen. alright. i just think they have incredible vibes as a foursome in any capacity. levins seducing the boys? incredible. apoc au finding comfort and love in each other? beautiful. canon divergent "hey we're all gonna be around forever and already like each other, let's fuck around and find out"? fun times. any and all versions are top tier, golden, a+ content.
