Spit the Seeds: A Supermarket Spell

A quick hex for the #SupermarketSpell challenge by @windvexer ! For the Witch who needs a Hex on the Go.

Spell Ingredients: +Fruit with Seeds inside (Apple, Watermelon, Orange ect ect) Spell steps: 1.) Hold the seeded fruit in your hands and think of who you would like the hex to be placed on. 2.) Eat the fruit, spitting out any seeds that are in each bite. 3.) After spitting out the seed(s) say "For each seed that falls may your misery grow and bare the fruit of consequence." 4.) Continue eating and repeating steps 2&3 when applicable. 5.) When finished take the remaining Rind/Peel/Core/Ect and give it back to the earth (via composting or in the appropriate trash receptacle) 5.1) When discarding say "Let the fruit of your consequences be bitter with every bite." Bonus: If you're feeling EXTRA vindictive: use a pomegranate

About Me:

Name: Anna

Age: 22  (but my birthday is in November!)

Things I’d like to learn more about:

This was actually a difficult question for me to answer for my practice. I think I would like to learn more about or be encouraged to become better at making parts of my practice become habit. I would also like to learn more about divination with other tools and astro-charts as well. I think I am moving past the ‘super basic beginner’ phase of my practice and I am in a position to still want to learn more but I am not sure at the moment that I write this more of what exactly? I am just working with what I have to increase the habit of my practice. 

My Why:

Since I am a secular witch without a pantheon (but a super supporter of all of those out there that do - you all rock) I don’t have a pantheon of my own but I think I do have a reason why I started my practice. 

I like community. I like making meaningful connections with people, but this has also been difficult for me in the past. Everyone has baggage, and so of course I come with my own set, as well as being raised in the country far away from the rest of my school population who lived near each other in the suburbs. I came from a Christian school (christian witches, my apologies, you all are doing wonderful) and that specific school experience for my entire k-12 existence was a bad one. I am not close with my parents for similar reasons as well. 

I also like the idea of exercising agency, being kind to yourself and kind to others, and the importance of individual ritual or practice. 

That being said, I still keep my practice relatively private.

A good start to the main altar and my temporary Sekhmet altar! I’m planning a more permanent Sekhmet/Nut altar in the windowsill and have a ways to go with lighting, but it’s a start ✨
