Another Tepe, Oxton and SnL piece that I worked on for about 2 weeks
This time I actually read it out loud
Drew a friend's Stortebeker for our Shadow of the Wolf game! La Luz en el Cielo, piloted by an absolute sweetie who turns into a foul-mouthed terror during combat maneuvers or duels.
New Lancer RPG video!
Alternate frames!
In this episode of Lancer Custom Werks, Stortebeker, a frame that seeks to shoot and slash through it all with truesilver piercing their armor, what can you do with this mech?
Finished up a fresh #LancerRPG commission, a Störtebeker, from Dustgrave! #Lancer #Mecha
Song Of The Day: Stortebeker-In Extremo from ‘Quid Pro Quo’
In Extremo (Latin for 'At The Edge’) is a unique folk metal Band from Berlin, Germany as they combine medieval instruments with rock music. The signature instruments featured in their music are bagpipes, hurdy-gurdy, harp, accordion, etc.
While they write original music in German, they also perform their versions of traditional medieval ballads in various languages such as Gaelic, Spanish, English, Norwegian, Swedish, Hebrew, Etc.
Unfortunately, I can’t really explain what the song is about but I’m assuming it has to do with German history about the leader of the Victual Brothers (privateers).
Lyrics: Störtebeker
Störtebeker is his name And we are his brothers The jolly roger on our flag We loudly sing thieving songs
Kneeling before the altar on a sunday Was never really our thing From Helgoland even up to Rügen Everyone knows who we are
Friend of God and all the world’s enemy We never shit where we eat* No matter what the lord says about it We share everything, even our rest
For silver, women, salt and beer We sail the seas We live in the here and now And that suits us very well
We don’t plunder, we rob We don’t pray, we believe Born as children of god The sail black and taut in the wind
With your mother’s milk you sucked it in You have never stolen You wanna be a little richer, To get your share
Everyone knows of our deeds They’re bold but seldom awful Because we’re pirates And that is our right
The hangman even failed He held the head by the hair The mob were invigorated He left without a head
We don’t plunder, we rob We don’t pray, we believe Born as children of god The sail black and taut in the wind
We don’t plunder, we rob We don’t pray, we believe Born as children of god The sail black and taut in the wind
We don’t plunder, we rob We don’t pray, we believe Born as children of god The sail black and taut in the wind
