Some backstory headcanon!

Peppino had a cat when he was young. His friend Lenny's cat had kittens, and he offered to let Peppino have one. Peppino chose a little gray one, which he named Pesto.

Pesto turned out to be quite small, but fierce; Peppino had to be careful and not let the little guy out much, since he would terrorize the entire neighborhood! Pesto even got out a few times and ended up fathering a couple of litters.

Pesto was quite elderly when Peppino was drafted, and passed while Peppino was in the Army. The little cat was cremated, and his ashes sat on a shelf in Margherita's home until recently; when Peppino finally built a house, he asked Margherita for the box, and it now sits in a place of honor on Peppino's mantle.

so about me, i'm callista! little ol' 20 y/o idol out on her own in ULS. i like drawing and singing and dancing and bunnies and cats and birds! and the color pink, obvi. this school actually has a crazy good performing arts program for idols, which is why i'm here. murdered his parents 6 years ago and is currently living on the run, alienated from the rest of his siblings (who mostly hate his guts). his unconventional ability makes living with other people difficult as people fear him. gawain is mostly quiet, monotone and emotionless to hide and loneliness and trauma he recieved while living with his parents. he fares pretty well on his own, all things considered. but his world flips upside when his older sister silas shows up at his apartment one night, in need of his help.....

SILAS ROZDELIT

he/she/they | 31 | genderfluid / gnc trans man

oldest rozedelit sibling trying to keep the family together after her parents sudden murder at the hands of his brother. silas has a weak and frial body but a powerful mind capable of seeing the future. her impressive ability is the only keeping him at the top of the food chain. they are outward rude and blunt and can get hot tempered and nasty quick. Silas hardly lets anyone in, as they are also deeply lonely and traumatized. as silas struggles to maintain power, a series of unsavory events push at silas and she begrudgingly seeks gawain's help......

probably with the most small details possible because i cannot get them out of my head :)

so uh fact 1: all the kids use a pesterchum equivalent of chatting called Critter Chatter, Sage was the one who got everyone into using it cause they were able to convince everyone that the other app they were using was too easy to just get lost in(or something like that), except Jack, Jack just stays in discord and has a jojo profile picture. Jack only starts using Critter Chatter when Monosis day arrives

fun fact 2 (this one is a little more relevant): the plot starts in 15/7/2012, which marks Marie's 15 year birthday :)

fun fact três: the actual full release date of monosis is supposed to be on 21/08 (Sage's birthdate) but the beta test is released on 28/6

fun fact four: Sage is the one who buys Marie and Jack's copies

fun fact V: Sage has read warrior cats and their Critter Chatter animal is a black cat (possibly a furry)

okay now im tired of fun facts im straight up just gonna drop usernames of all the characters too, putting it under a line break since its gonna be long.

okay now with all that done and made time to put some actual story bits.

Sage, Marie and Jack are the only ones who have met irl due to special circumstances where they were out of their country(not Sage) no one else has met besides them.

and now some actual story thoughts i have on the start of it all: Marie starts off with being contacted by Sage while drawing another clothes model, with Sage telling them the news of buying her the game of the year and sending it online. And Marie decides to goof around while the game starts to download painfully slow due to it being a snow day. Meanwhile all that, Sage is recounting their lucid dreams they have on derse and trying to keep track of all the things they have planned for most of the day, they then decide to look out the window to observe nature and whatnot, and that's when they notice a weird thing in the distance of the sky, although they still can't really make out what it is, even with their telescope.

okay now final footnote since i also would like to mention this.

they dont have a space player

okay thats all i think i can say without having to go into some more depth to explain some more story, maybe on the monosis blog im making :d.
