Happy Friday the 13th! Sending some love to our favorite black cat. 

No, not Chat Noir (although I was originally going to write a story about him). I’m talking about our lovable, lazy, sarcastic, cheese-loving kwami Plagg!

So, in honor of our boy, I wrote him a Day-in-the-Life story.

Summary: Plagg's days are all starting to feel exactly the same. As he goes through yet another school day with Adrien, he wonders if he can do something to start shaking up the status quo. At the same time, though, he reflects on how great it is that his life is fairly predictable.

Breaking Monotony

Plagg was torn. He wanted life to be delightfully boring. He would be content if the rest of Adrien's life was spent lounging in his room, allowing Plagg to eat as much Camembert as he pleased, and watch as much TV or play as many video games as amused him. At the same time, though, Plagg knew he'd get bored, and loved the soap opera his latest owner somehow stumbled into. Plagg had to constantly choke down laughter every time he heard Adrien proclaim the love of his life was "just a friend." Such a clueless kid.

Still, even with the exhausting excitement of each day, there was a monotony there. Every day seemed to run the same way, and Plagg was getting bored with it. If he was going to be bored anyway, couldn't he at least be bored and lazy?

"Morning, Plagg." Adrien rolled out of bed at five sharp, as he did every morning. He picked out his clothes for the day – the same t-shirt, cover shirt, and jeans that he always seemed to pick – and went into the bathroom to shower. Plagg decided to use the extra ten minutes to sleep.

When Plagg woke again, Adrien was already dressed, his hair blow-dried and perfectly in place – something that bugged Plagg; he liked Adrien's hair shaggy and loosely hung – and Adrien was brushing his teeth. Plagg had missed breakfast, but Adrien was kind enough to smuggle him some cheese.

"You know," Plagg grumbled, "I wouldn't mind a nice croissant to spread my cheese on every once in a while. Shake things up a little."

"Well, if you want to shake things up so much, how about starting with a whole day without Camembert?"

"Hey! No need to go crazy!"

Adrien shook his head and held his shirt open for Plagg to hide inside. Instead, Plagg zipped to Adrien's messenger bag.

"I think I'm gonna spread out today," he called up before pulling his head through the cover flap.

"Oh. Uh. Okay." Adrien's voice was unsure. He still had his kwami beside him, but he seemed uneased by the idea of not having Plagg tucked within his armpit. While Plagg loved the smell, the humidity was a bit much, and he figured Adrien would like the reprieve from having something wedged there. Teenagers were weird.

It was a nice day, and Adrien had a bit of a head start on the morning, so he convinced Nathalie and his bodyguard that he as capable of walking to school. Plagg shook his head. What a strange bodyguard. He barely protected Adrien at all; being more of a glorified babysitter and chauffeur. Not that Adrien needed a bodyguard, but still. Such a silly title for someone who rarely fulfilled the job. Either way, the gentle giant was kind to Adrien, and Plagg appreciated that.

Small example of my plans for my next story

Novel's chest hitched as he leaned on the wall, his blood adding to the stains already there. His grip tightened on his stomach. Never had he been cut so deep. How was he still alive? His face twisted, freckled cheeks contorting as he hissed through his teeth. Novel wasn't sure his organs would stay in. Sobs were too painful to conjure, though tears fell mercilessly from his eyes.

He could hear them. The steady chattering of teeth. The soft sound of blade trailing against stone. Pushing off the wall, Novel slouched as he moved toward the heavy metal door in front of him. He hesitated; something far worse could lie behind it. But if he remained in the open, these demons hunting him were bound to discover him. A deep, shaking breath escaped as he pushed the door open.

"What the hell?" A feminine voice cried as Novel fell into the room. Soft browns stared up at a pair of women before him; one with red-orange tresses that fell in waves around her face, the other sporting a loose black ponytail that permitted strays to fall around her ears.

A tall, slender man with black hair slipped in front of the women, arm rising protectively. "An escapee?", the man inquired. "He doesn't look familiar", the black haired woman replied, her Scottish accent thick. "There's a lot of souls here", the redhead pointed out, her accent matching the other's.

Find the Hell Priest, Freddy had told him. Novel blinked through the darkness starting to cloud his vision. He just had to hang on long enough. "The Priest", Novel blurted out, wincing violently as he hit his knees. "Where is the Priest?!"

No answer touched his ears before his head hit the floor.

Operation Curare Sample: The Surveillance Begins

 Matt Clery was alone in the surveillance van. He was a tall, balding man; once he had been ginger, but there wasn't much left of his hair, so he cut it short with a machine twice a week. He had been rather fit in his youth, but nowadays he had grown heavy, his belly beginning to show through his white shirts.

He gave a half smile as the target, one Alice Shaw, began undressing on his screen. Maybe this wasn't going to be such a bum assignment after all. She took off nearly all her clothes with her back turned to the camera. He gazed at her naked back, slender and smooth, at the way her hair brushed across it, her thick brown hair. She undid her white bra, and he unwillingly leaned forward, wishing her to turn around. She slid into her tiny knitted top before she turned to the mirror. A disappointment? Perhaps. But as she went to touch up her make-up, he watched her from the side. Saw those full breast bounce freely. Knowing that they were rubbing against the soft cable knit material. He loosened his tie.  

He saw her bind her hair up in two high twin tails. They brushed her bare shoulders as she moved around, as she moved to a closet to pick out a wooden broom, as she walked, hips swaying, ass pushed back and chest pushed forward, into the living room.

He hurried to shift his view to the next camera.

He saw her go to her laptop, adjusting it to stand facing her somewhere below the location of his point of view.

She then went to her music system where she apparently made herself a playlist.

Now she turned to her laptop, touched a button and, holding her broom in her left hand, did the victory sign with her right hand as she smiled and said: "Okay, girls! Live from Portham! Making a living: Pole Dancing Alice!"

The music began.  

She used the broom as a makeshift pole, held it as she walked around it, a long legged suggestive walk. She began swinging her head from side to side in tune with the hard pumping music, her twin tails bouncing wildly, as she wrapped a leg around the broomstick, high and agile, rubbing her inner thigh against it, her face regal with chin raised high.

The music. A small part of Clery, the detective part, wondered why she was listening to older beats, stuff from his youth, rather than hers. But he remembered the tunes. Remembered the parties, hot chicks dancing, getting turned on by the lyrics, watching the explicit music videos, alone, he remembered that he used to...  

She turned her ass towards him, her torso horizontal as she leaned on the broom, shaking her firm buttocks right at him.

He broke out in a sweat.

She was so nimble, so strong, she had so much stamina. She could keep shaking that ass forever. And yet, she was slender, he could pick her up with ease, hold that wild body, feel its firm energy as she wiggled.

She looked over her shoulder, right at him, expectant.

It was so unprofessional, but his hand went into his pants.

Holding the broom with one hand, she bent over backwards, making a bridge, her freely bouncing breasts the highpoint, her legs slightly spread, her swaying pussy pushed towards the camera.

Oh God. It had been so long. He was hunched forward towards the screen, masturbating faster and faster.

Another tune, new positions, hips swaying, breasts bouncing, hands sliding up and down the broomstick. His face was a dark red.

And then. "I know that song," he thought, "Naughty Girl... the techno version... it... it has a countdown."

It had.

Alice rested the broom on her breasts as she held out ten fingers.

Frantically he reached for his handkerchief.

"Dear God," he moaned.

"Come get me," she said, in time with the lyrics.

Alice planted a openmouthed kiss on top of the broom, and Clery screamed as he spermed a big load into his handkerchief.

Then he sat there, eyes glassy, limbs heavy, shirt out of his pants, his cock wrapped in sticky cloth, face red and wet...

When the phone rang.

He turned off the sound as fast as he could.

"SAC Pierce here. She is in the apartment?"

"Uh, yes, but uh, nothing to report as of yet, sir."

"Keep your eyes peeled, agent. Keep in mind that we are potentially dealing with a super smart individual, and that this might be our big break, our chance to crack the FemForce network in North America. Watch out for anything, anything out of the ordinary."

"Of course, sir," Clery answered. He swiped his brow with his hand. It became dripping wet. "But so far, absolutely nothing has happened."

Detective Conan Twin Purple AU Not-so-Sidestories

Meetings, Love, and Reunion Part 1: Meeting with loved ones after a long wait.

(Takes place a week after Desperate Revival)

Shiryu POV

Somewhere near the Mouri Detective Agency

"It's almost time Shiryu Nii-chan! I can't wait!"

"Same here, Sumire. I'm excited to finally see their younger selves in person. Especially Papa due to his... situation. We've heard a lot about what Papa had to deal with from him and many of our friends and family, but it's a whole nother thing to interact with."

"Ne ne, nii-chan?"

"Yes, Sumire?"

"Nii-chan, do you think that Papa and Mama will be happy to see us here?"

"No problem, Sumire. Though I do suspect that their gonna need a minute... or a day to recover from the shock. Especially Papa, thanks to our "prank". Otherwise I'm sure that they'll be happy to see us as Haibara Onee-sama told us that Papa and Mama where just as kinda and loving in the past as they are in the future."

"Hmmm, that makes me happy to remember. Thanks again nii-chan! Though I hope Mama doesn't stay mad at Papa for to long after the reveal."

"It should be fine Sumire, especially since I remember hearing that Mama ended up forgiving Papa fairly quickly."

Meanwhile

In front of the Mouri Detective Agency

Conan POV

Conan and Ran are back from shopping with both having had the feeling of being watched for the past 30 minutes, but sensing no hostility. Having looked all around them yet not finding anyone suspicious they entered the agency stairway and where about to open the apartment door only to notice that there was a note on the the door. The note had a a small purple dragon and a violet next to each other with an arrow pointing up.

"Hmmm? What's with the note? Conan-kun, did you put this here?"

"No? I've never seen that before, Ran-neechan. Hmm, I wonder if this is related to the strange presence that we've been noticing. Whoever it is seems harmless enough, and since it seems that we are being directed to the roof we should be safe as it is wide open and easy to view from the street in case something does happen."

"Huh... that's quite the observation Conan-kun."

"Ah... eheheh, well I've been learning a lot from Shinichi nii-chan, and have lived here for a while! Right? Anyways! Let's go see who it is that left this note!" Hold on.. the roof is locked, how would someone get to the roof then?

On the rooftop

"Huh, there's no one here? Ran nee-chan, do you see anyone near the entry way?"

"No? I don't see any here? Oh, there's another note. [Turn around, and go back to the apartment]?"

Immediately after they headed back downstairs they found another note on the apartment door. This time with the little purple dragon and the violet next to each other then an arrow pointing horizontally to a house. Above the arrow is an open door and below it a numberless clock face with just the hour hand pointing straight up and 30 degrees being written to its side. At the bottom only the note there's also another set of images. A big heart containing a familiar looking pair of glasses(that has the number 1 on the right lens with the other being white like a lens glare) next to a karate gi wrapped around an orchid that has a blackbelt. From the heart an arrow is pointing to another house, but inside the doorway there's the same glasses and karate gi with the purple dragon and violet.

Conan ended up breaking into a blush after realizing the implications of the message and didn't realize until a bit later that Ran was giving a subtle glance after blushing herself.

"Huh... noway..." Hahaha, this has gotta be a prank cause that's not possible right? Otherwise this means some one found out the truth behind 'Conan' and if that was the case... no wait, solve the message first instead of panicking. If they meant anyharm then they wouldn't go through all this trouble to tease me and Ran. Interesting though that this is slightly reminiscent of KIDs riddles, but different enough to not really be his style. It's almost... childish?

Alright, so the the first half of the riddle is simple enough. This 'purple dragon and violet' are likely two people and will be entering - likely expecting to be let in to - the apartment as no other location is indicated in what seems to be an hour given how the clock face only contains the hour hand with 30 degrees meaning 1 hour and not an actual time. This likely means that as soon as we enter the apartment the timer starts that way they don't need to account for time to solve the riddle... in which case... are they watching!? Calm down... they seem harmless so continue.

Okay the next part of the riddle... the Glasses and Karate Gi wrapped around an Orchid in the heart... they likely indicates me and Ran - Orchid literally being 'RAN' in Japanese- and the 1 behind the lens is the 'one behind the lens' or 'the persons true self' perhaps also referring to the Ichi in Shinichi as this riddle does have that childish air about it. Childish... hmmm. Next, the arrow from the heart to the house with the glasses, gi, purple dragon, and violet. That means that Ran and Me... being together leads to that house that has the those four. Does that mean, they'll be living here? No it can't be that simple, the fact that it's lead from the heart mean... they're our kids somehow!? If... if that's the case then HOW??? Also, that would mean the 'purple dragon and violet' would be a key trait to them -like with the glasses and gi- and an identifier to there names. Purple... both are purple.... like... Ran's eyes. I guess that's the trait, as for the names... Purple Dragon...Shiryu? The Violet seems a bit more simple. If taken as a direct Japanese word, then Sumire? Shiryu and Sumire, a boy and a girl?

Well, all that's left now is to enter the apartment and wait... preferably with the door closed as... if someone does arrive then it's likely that rest of the 'riddle' is true and it's not just a prank from someone in the know like my parents or Haibara(it's not their style anyway). In which case, I need to confess the truth to Ran before anyone else does - children or not - the second that there's a knock after an hour.

Now to just distract Ran until then... Ah, perfect the door!

"Ran-neechan? Did you leave the door unlocked?"

"No... I'm fairly certain I locked it after putting the groceries away"

Slowly, Ran and Conan entered the apartment while looking for any sign of an intruder, but found no disturbances. About an hour later they settled down in the living room.

Knock Knock

Oh... I guess it's time... Takes a Deep Breath

"Umm, Ran...?"

"Yes... Shinichi?

"I'M SORRY! I'm really, really sorry! I can explain later, but I swear I didn't mean to hurt you have felt absolutely terrible every time I had to lie and.. and I LOVE YOU RAN!! I've loved you since we were four and still do! I missed my chance to say this at the restaurant and I'll explain that as well later, but... Ran! Will you please Marry Me!

Ran starts tearing up

"Umm Ran...?"

"...Shinichi"

"Ran, are you okay?"

"Yes!"

"Huh?"

Then Ran look straight with a big teary smile just like when she was a kid.

"YES! Yes, I accept, Shinichi! You better properly explain later, but yes! I've loved you for so long that despite all the questions I could have the first thought the comes to mind is 'Finally! Finally it happened'!

"Thank you, Ran." I'm so glad that went better than expected! Although, I'm likely in for a lecture later on about self preservation.

With a bright smile of his own, Conan no, Shinichi breathed an immense sigh of relief before getting startled by the sounds from the front door.

Knock Knock

After taking a deep breath Shinichi and Ran give a subtle nod to each other carefully approach the door, and then slowly open it to find what seemed to be a 10 year old boy and girl each with purple eyes, a baseball cap with their hair tucked in, and a familiar air about them looking straight at Shinichi and Ran.

"No way... Um... Shiryu and Sumire? I can't believe this...

The boy and girl took a look at each other grew bright adorable grins and then looked back to Shinichi and Ran before tackling them to the ground in a big hug together.

Shiryu POV

2 minutes Ago

On the other side of the apartment door at the Mouri Detective Agency

"Oh! It's time! Can I do the honors Nii-chan?"

"Hm? Sure thing, Sumire!" Some how I get the feeling the secret weapon won't be needed.

Sumire then proceeded to knock on the door as Shiryu placed the family photo of them - as babies playing while their parents sat next to each other with peaceful smiles next to a tree in the Kudo Houses yard - back into his pocket.

After a few seconds, Shiryu and Sumire could lightly hear their Past Version Parents conversations and gave a cheeky grin to each other.

"It worked Nii-chan! It worked!"

"Heh, Yup!" Wow... Papa and Mama really were just as lovey dovey in the past they are in our time. Funny how so similar to Yusaku Oji-san and Yukiko Oba... Onee-san... Even the past versions of them where obviously head over heels for each other when we met them after saving Akemi Onee-san.

"Alright, Sumire. Knock on the door again."

"Got it, Nii-Chan! Oh, yah! If Papa gets our names right on the first guess then I'm totally tackle hugging them!"

"Funny, I was just about to say the same thing!"

"Ready, Nii-Chan?"

"Ready, Sumire!"

KNOCK KNOCK

A few seconds later, the door slowly opens and the Twins look at their past version parents.

"No way... Um... Shiryu and Sumire?"

HE GOT IT! HE GOT OUR NAMES!

Shiryu and Sumire gave each other bright grins before turning back to their Past Version Parents and both tackle hugging them.

In front of Agasa Hiroshi's Home

Knock Knock

Light sounds can be heard from inside the house.

"Ai-kun? Can you get the door please?

"Hm? Okay, Professor. Although I do wonder if the door bell is working, cause otherwise why knock..."

Just as Haibara was thinking that and opened the door, she was greeted by the one face she never expected to see.

"O... Onee-san?

Akemi gives a teary and undeniably real smile to her little sister and bends down to hug Ai. Only after standing paralyzed for a few seconds does Ai... no, Shiho realize that this really is her beloved big sister and not some ghost or imposter and hugs her back while both cry tears of joy at this wonderful reunion.

"I'm back, Shiho."

And with tears in her eyes, Shiho responds with a bright smile.

"Welcome back, Onee-san!"

(Here's another sample of my test story featuring @dapperdresserr. This one will feature Brooke with my oc, Faith, being mentioned. Keep in mind that this takes place in an au. Everyone isn't dead and isn't in the underworld. They just assume they are.

Here's some stuff I didn't mention in the last sample. The reason why I'm using the authors insert is that Faith is the insert I use while reading 'Dapper Dresser'. While I do put myself in the story sometimes, Faith is the character I usually use. Also, I came up with my main story while reading 'Dapper Dresser'. This test story is merely a testing ground for it. 

Anyway, enjoy this sample.)

Where was he? Where the hell was he?!

All that and more than through Brooke's mind as she wandered through the cave. Ever since she got separated from Alastor she's been on edge. What if something happened? She didn't know how to defend herself. Why didn't she try harder when learning how to defend herself? Why did she make Alastor promise to not send Chester after her anymore?! 

She wrapped her arms around herself as she picked up her pace. This cave wasn't right. Something was wrong here. The question was what, though. What was making her stand on edge? She wasn't a magic user like Alastor. Yet, this place felt mystical. A corrupt kind of mystical. 

When she came close to a four-way path she stopped. Okay, time to think. Backtracking wasn't an option. She was hopelessly lost. Everything looked the same and she had no idea how big this cave was. She could wait for Alastor, but how long would it be until he found her? Would even find her?

Brooke slumped against the cave wall and ran a hand through her hair. Why did they come into this blasted cave in the first place?! Curiosity be damned! Going into an unexplored cave was stupid! Why didn't they-

Heavy, rapid, footsteps broke Brooke out of her thoughts. Someone was running nearby. She looked to see Alastor run past her path. A smile broke out in her face when she saw him. 

"Alastor!" She called as she rounded the corner after him. "Alastor, wait up! I can't keep up with you!"

The Radio Demon stopped when he heard the unfamiliar voice call his name. That wasn't Faith. Who was calling him?

He turned around to see a woman running up to him. He's never seen this woman before. Not even in his own dimension. While he did tend to forget people he didn't think were worth remembering, he had a feeling he would've remembered someone like her. After all, she was like his Faith. Looked more human than monster.

The woman stopped not too far from him and caught her breath. "Geez. Don't run so fast. My legs aren't as long as yours."

Alastor merely stared at her. Did she know this dimensions Alastor? From the way she was looking at him, she must know him well. She wasn't looking at him in fear. She wasn't even hesitating in his presence. Only those who knew him well, like Husk and Niffty, didn't look at him in fear. That must be the case assuming her Alastor was like him. 

Brooke looked up at him. "This place is crazy! I can't tell where we are at all! I can't even tell where the path to the entrance is anymore. Please tell me you know where we are."

Hmm. Perhaps he'd play along for now. This could be entertaining. Not to mention he didn't want to scare her off and leave her alone in the fairy dwelling. Faith would be furious at him. Might as well play the part.

Alastor shook his head. "I'm afraid not, darling. This place has me puzzled as well. Your guess on where we are is as good as mine."

Brooke groaned. "Then send out Chester to look for the entrance. I want to go home." 

Chester? Who was that? Was she talking about Theodore? That's the only conclusion he could come up with. Chester must be the name of her Alastors shadow.

The Radio Demon chuckled. "I could. But, why do you want to leave right now? This is a new place to explore. The possibilities of what we will find in here are endless. Why would you want to pass up the opportunity to go on an adventure?"

Brooke looked at him as if he was crazy. "Are you nuts?! This place is a freaking maze! Not to mention I'm getting a weird vibe from it. This place feels off. I'm not a magic user like you, but trust me when I say this place feels corrupted!"

She's not a magic user, yet she feels the corruption too? Then things must be worse than they thought. If a non-magic user can feel it too then he needed to find Faith and whatever they're looking for. 

He hummed in thought. "You can feel it too." He placed a hand on his chin as he thought. "If we leave then things could get worse here. If it spreads outside then that wouldn't be good. I believe we should find whatever is causing this corruption and see if we can fix it."

Brooke just stared at Alastor. ".....What. Wait, are you seriously wanting to press on and see what's causing all this?!"

He nodded. "Of course. It would be a nuisance to deal with it spreads outside. Might as well take care of the problem ahead of time. It is the most logical solution."

Brooke raised an eyebrow. "Logical solution? Since when did you care about stuff like that Mr. I-like-to-do-things-with-the-snappy-thing?"

All he did was blink at her. "....Do you really think I only do things on a whim? I wouldn't have gotten to where I am now if I wasn't capable of simple critical and logical thinking. Sometimes weighing your options and the pros and cons in a situation are needed. Right now, finding out the cause of this corruption and fixing it before it becomes worse is the most logical conclusion."

All Brooke did stare at him as he explained everything. He supposes what he said was somewhat out of character for him. Faith did say that a little more logical thinking could be a helpful technique as he learned more light magic. As a businessman, he did think logically. But, that was a different kind of logic. Maybe he should lay off that kind of talk while around this woman. Scaring her off was something he was trying to avoid, after all.

He adjusted his monocle. "My apologies, my dear. I suppose that was a bit unlike me. As a businessman, thinking logically is a requirement. I'll leave that kind of talk within work." He turned and motioned for her to follow him. "Come now, darling. We're wasting time here. The sooner we fix this mess the sooner we can return home."

As he continued forward all Brooke did was stare at him. Okay, something was up with him. He wasn't acting like his usual self. Not to mention she got the feeling he didn't know her. How was that possible? She was his girlfriend, after all.

She placed her hands on her hips as she continued to look at him. Either he was playing a prank on her or this place was messing with her. Either way, she wasn't happy and was determined to find out what was going on.

(This is a sample of a story I want to write. It's a test story for a Hazbin fanfic that I'm working on. To put it simply, it's an Alastor x oc story. But, I want to treat it as if it's the actual show or something and want to make it as different as possible. The oc, my main character, is a beginner sorceress named Faith. I'll describe her in this sample for everyone.

Also, this will include the main character from @dapperdresserr's story. Now, while Brooke won't make an appearance in this sample, she will be mentioned. Depending on how things go I may write another sample of this test story. 

Before anyone asks this will include dimension traveling. So, two Alastors will be implied in this sample. It'll also include my au of Hazbin. Basically, everyone thinks they're in the underworld when they're actually not. They're not dead, just thrown into that prison and they assume they're dead and in the underworld. All the dimensions of Hazbin in my story are like that. 

I'll admit, one of the reasons why I'm going to write this test story and making this a crossover is to try to get a better feel of Alastor. I've been brainstorming on how to write him in my main story with no luck. I know how I want him to end up. It's getting to that point that gets me. Alastor is just incredibly difficult to figure out. Reading 'Dapper Dresser' does help me a little bit. Hence why my test story will be a crossover. But, that only takes me so far. Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this little sample of my test story.)

As Alastor traveled deeper into the strange cave the more confused he became. This entire place was a labyrinth. It didn't help he was separated from Brooke. The poor darling must be so scared. 

The Radio Demon stopped and let out a frustrated sigh. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and thought about the situation at hand. This place was a maze and confusing. He had a feeling backtracking wouldn't do him any good. He felt something mystical about this place as well. He had never felt anything like this before. It wasn't anything bad, just completely different. In all honesty, he got a fairytale vibe from it.

Just as he was about to press on a woman popped in front of his face. She was in the air and hanging upside down. "There you are, Al. I've been looking everywhere for you."

All Alastor did was look at her as she put herself right side up in front of him. She had pale skin, freckles on her face, vibrant ginger hair, and sparkling green eyes. Her wardrobe consisted of a backless white summer dress that came to her knees and white leggings. Sparkling emerald earrings and an emerald necklace dangled from her ears and neck. She was barefoot and had a decorative green vine wrapped around her right ankle and an emerald ankle bracelet hung from her left one. What stood out the most were the two large rainbow fairy wings that sprouted from her back.

As he continued to stare at her the woman merely smiled. "This labyrinth sure is confusing, isn't it? I think it somehow connected itself to my memories too. I've seen some projections of some events from my past. Probably because it thinks I'm a fairy. Good job giving me the wings, by the way. You're getting better at light magic. Perhaps with enough practice, your maleficence will begin to purify."

He gave her fairy wings? He did no such thing! Maleficence? That was that? This woman was talking nonsense! Not to mention she acted like they knew each other. Alastor has never seen this woman before. While he tended to forget people that he didn't think were worth remembering, he had a feeling he would've remembered someone like her. After all, it wasn't every day he saw someone with natural vibrant red hair like hers. Even if she wasn't a ginger, her Irish and American laced accent would've been enough.

The woman smiled a bit more and motioned for him to follow her. "Come on. We can't afford to waste any more time. If we want to make it back before nightfall then we need to hurry. We have a lot of ground to cover and very little time."

As she flew ahead Alastor raised an eyebrow. Well, this was certainly unexpected. But, this could also be entertaining. Not to mention if he followed her he could find Brooke. So, he'd play along for now. 

He trotted after her and spoke up when he caught up. "Do you know where you're going? As you said, this place is a labyrinth."

Faith looked at him. "I have a hypothesis on where our path is. The more projections I see of my memories, the closer we are to our destination. I don't think we're close to our final one yet, but it's a start. Faries often required outsiders to pass tests to proceed further. It doesn't help that they tended to lean into the dramatic side too. They sure did love their music, environmental magic, and singing."

She chuckled. "Makes me wonder if you have some fairy blood in you." 

The Radio Demon almost scoffed. "I'm not that dramatic, dear."

Faith rolled her eyes. "Sure you're not." She stopped, flew in front of him, and soared a bit higher as she turned to face him. Alastor had to look up at her as she spoke. "Anyway, we need to be prepared for anything. We're heading into unknown territory. Faries weren't known for sharing their secrets and magic. I'm not even sure how much my teachers know about them."

Teachers? This woman didn't look like she wasn't any younger than 20. Perhaps she attended college? That's the only logical conclusion he could come up with. No way was this woman in her teens!

As they continued on silence filled the air. That didn't sit right with the beginner sorceress. Alastor was never quiet. In fact, he hardly shut up. After a few more moments she looked at him. "Are you okay Al? You're awfully quiet."

Said man chuckled. "Think nothing of it, my dear. This place is merely..." He waved a hand in the air as he pondered on what he wanted to say. "Uncomfortable. I've never felt something like this before. I suppose it's putting a damper on my mood."

While that was true, he was also worried about Brooke. Since he couldn't send Chester out to find her, thanks to his part of their deal about not sending his shadow after her anymore, he was stuck looking for her manually. 

Faith paused for a moment before flying in front of him. He stopped and looked at her. Her face was filled with concern. "Alastor. I know things may seem strange and a bit scary. But, don't forget I'm right here. I won't let anything bad happen to you." 

She motioned around her. "This place isn't completely dangerous. It's not like what's outside. The fairy people were peaceful and gentle. What dangerous obstacles we face are the result of outside influences corrupting everything. So, you have nothing to worry about."

The sorceress placed her hands on his shoulders. "Don't worry. I'll protect you."

As soon as she touched him Alastor stiffened and ripped himself from her gentle grasp. This both alarmed and hurt Faith. The Radio Demon noticed this and lightly chuckled as he adjusted his monocle. "My apologies, darling. I'm afraid I'm not in the mood to be touched right now."

With that said he walked past her. "Come now, my dear. Let us finish what business we have here and leave this strange place."

What he was really interested in was finding Brooke. This woman was strange, that's for sure. He wondered if she was even real. After all, rainbow fairy wings? Really? Made from magic or not, he's never heard of such a spell. There must be some enchantment that was placed on this cave to mess with whoever entered it. Yeah. That must be it. 

As Alastor walked away Faith stared at him. He pulled away from her. He actually pulled away from her. He hasn't done that since they first met and were figuring out their feelings for one another. There was also the fact he was acting like he was pretending to know her, but clearly didn't know who she was. Did he even know what they were doing here and what this place was? She informed him before they arrived in this dimension. Not to mention he hasn't even said her name. He's only used pet names.

She placed a hand on her chin and the other on her hip and lightly hummed in thought. Something told her he wasn't her Alastor. If that's the case, then either the fairy dwelling was messing with her or he was this dimensions Alastor.

Random Story Sample (Enter Nekotastic)

... Deep in thought, Jade found herself in an unfamiliar part of the city. She felt odd since a walk this long would have tired her out after the first mile. Instead she only felt hungry. She realize she probably should have though things through. She figure she had only a few cents on her that may be enough for on or too meals. Jade found what she think is an old small concrete park or playground while looking for some kind of shop. She sat down on the warp bench partly worrying about her safety. There is none one around her except for a few cars that may have pass since she sat down. She figure she is safe from catching the attention of the police, yet she did not like the idea of being so easily seen. Then there is that fear of stranger she has and she wonder if she should try to head out in the country even though that would be an even longer and risky journey. Her stomach then remind her of what she should be worried about.

Jade thought she heard something and as she starts to look behind her, her hand hit a warm bag. She look at the bag for a moment as the smell hit her, making her more hungry. Even though it is tempting to open, she is confuse and worry of what going on. She looks further down the bench since something caught her caught her attention. There is someone crouch down beside the far end of the bench. Jade should have notice him right away, but he was completely hidden from her until his hear moved. The day became even more strange to her for this person is quite an anomaly. Jade could not help staring at those pointy ears. She could not find a reason to disprove what she is seeing: a human with cat ears. Then the flick of a tail broke her trance and she saw those cat like eyes staring at her. For a moment fear stuck her for her mind combine the idea of the worst of humans and felines together, but it did not last long. His face seem more curious than hungry to her and she is certain what ever in the bag is tastier than her. “Is this for me?” Jade softly said, but the person did not do anything different. She open the bag to find a few hotdogs in it. She brought one to her mouth before looking back at him to see barely any reaction. She took a few bites before gobbling the hotdog down. She thought see heard a meow, but was not sure since she was still listening to music.

Jade then realize the person is now sitting on the bench. He is not staring any more, but the speed, or perhaps the quietness, of his change in position startle her. She decided to continue eating and worry about why later. “Do you, um, speak or understand me?” Jade tried asking. The person took out a damage pad and a pencil and began writing on it. She notice his hand looks a bit off, but the gloves he is wearing made it difficult to guess why. “This is better” was written on the note. Jade let out a slight sigh in relief before asking if he have a name. “I became accustomed to the nick name Nekotastic. I can't say I remember  my real name. It have been a while” he wrote in response. Jade smile a bit for she found the name a bit cute, but odd. He also smile, but his glaze is still focus away form her. “Why are you helping me?” Jade wanted some kind of answer. She did not like the unknown and even though she hate lies, she rather had something than nothing. “I like helping people, but you are different. Maybe in more ways than I originally thought.” Neko show the pad, but then brought it back. He began to write more and Jade felt a little curious about the haste. He then show the pad with the addition: “You may have notice you have a power. You may not have notice that you are passion using it. Currently this is not a problem, but in the future you should try keeping it to your self so certain people can not track you so easily. There should be plenty of time to learn in the near by future.” “Is that how you found me? Um well I mean what now? I kind of mess up” Jade replied, getting quieter near the end. Neko was already writing after her first question. “Not really since I can find people easy if I am near by. After what happen, I felt you may need help in some way. Usually I try to find a place for people to fit in or help them get away from treats. You are the first I ran across from this world that have some kind of ability outside of the norm for this world. Leaving you with a good community, if I could find one, won't help defend you against other you may want to hurt or use you. I have an ally who may find or make a place for people like you in the future, but for now we probably should stick together. You do not have to if that is your choice.” Neko left the pad on his leg for a bit fore Jade to read. “I might as well. I shouldn't trust you, yet I do. There is something about you that pleasant.” Jade Pause for moment. “I am Jade by the way.” “One last thing, I do not like communication like this due to the amount of focus needed. I communicate in my own way(even sitting like this is hard), but I'll try to relay important information from time to time. Iris do not even know I write yet and I am not sure if I want her to yet. I worry about how much it will take to explain me to her. I really do not know anything useful yet so it would be a waste of time.” Neko rip that page from the pad and hand it to Jade before standing up and stretching. Jade notice that Neko is standing differently as if standing upright is not quite right for him, yet it is not too noticeable. He try to put his hoodie over his head, but his ears made it difficult. She figure it must be unconformable to him, but she can understand why he wanted to hid as much of what he is to the common folk. He didn't bother with his tail and she figure that may be be the hardest part to hid, but she figure most people may not notice due to his stealthy movements. If they did, then they may only think it is a fake tail unlike with his ears. As Neko reach the street, he smiles back at Jade. She stood up in response and began to follow him. She can't stop think how unconformable he look as they started walking along the street. Walking seem almost as awkward as him having his ears down.  She felt like running for his sake. He starts walking faster as if he knew she wants to try. Jade look at her music player and began to get up a queue of songs that may sound good for a jug or a run. She notice the batteries are getting low, but it should last for a few more hours. Right now she curious if Neko will run and if it is a smart idea. The music help push away that worry. Neko starts to speed up as Jade catches up. Running feels better for her now as if she is almost in a dream. She wonder if it is from her power, but she manage to keep up with speed with ease. It looks as if he wanted to drop on all fours and bolt. She wish that he did, but they already taking a big risk running at such a speed. She started hating common standards of her city even more. She wonder how much fun she could have if she stop caring for such minor regulations. ..

Random Story Sample (Introducing Jukebox)

Somewhere in the chaos of time and space is a world not quite as different as our own. Perhaps the majority of the populations is more dense and it may be at risk of a great disaster, but that is not the point at this time. In reality this is about a girl name Jade who, like a few others, who are far from common and today is not one of her bests.

It is lunch time and a period Jade always wanted to skip. She gave up eating school food a long time ago for the textures and tastes usually made her fell sick and she fear sneaking food in from home. She tends to be bored more than hungry at this hour since the noise made it hard for her to focus on anything productive. Lately she found a way to drown out the noise and even cheer herself up. Jade Started carrying a music player and headphones to wear during times where she did not need to listen to anyone. It is against the rules to carry such devices, yet she saw other people still use them so she decided to try it as well. As with most days, Jade found a sit at one of the empty tables near the back of the room. She then carefully put her black painted headphones in and made sure her hair cover the wires well. After putting the device on shuffle, she starts reading her book. She began to feel at peace.

Jade lost track of time, but this time it was not the movement of people that broke her from her trance. She was not aware of the cafeteria supervisor trying to speak to her. He pulls the wire and she ends up being hit buy both the chaotic environment and the dread of being caught. This should have only been awkward for her, but this time is different. Jade's day was not going to well. She embarrassed herself in gym and  she fail to finish a test due to the sound of pencils on paper disturbing her focus. In general her week was not going so well either. She needed another rest, but fail at that too. To her, everything became too much all of a sudden. It was not the fist time this feeling happen, but Jade never felt so cornered. All the feeling of failure collapse upon her and the noise around her became unbearable. She could not think nor could she make out what was being yelled at her. She felt overwhelm by an unknown pressure and began to pull her hair. A hand grab her arm and she manage to get a thought out before an even worst feeling feel upon her.

With a poorly thought idea to make a sanctuary for her, Jade grab the headphones with her free hand and jam it in her ear. This should have done nothing and she really did not expect anything since it was a reaction out of fear, but this when the unexpected happen. When Jade heard the first major difference in the song after a section, a shock wave hit the room. She began to zone out on the song, while the whole building began to rattle from the amplify beat of the song. Those who was not knock out by the initial blast started fleeing from the room. Jade began to recover as the sound ends and another begins to play. Everything is now stable, but she saw the damage she caused. She ran out one of the ruin windows mostly fearing what was to come. Even if things could go back to normal, which she highly doubt, she did not really want to return. Her parent are dead, her guardians are not understanding, and the school is a joke. She only had a few months left before graduation, but that is not enough to keep her there.

As Jade walks away, she felt a force pump though her with every beat of the song that is playing. She now know she was far from common and even though her future is now unknown, she did not feel as lost. To her it is as if she was going out on an adventure. She felt a bit of excitement, yet the realization of what just happen still floats in her mind. (...)
