After the amounts of studying, she realised that it was not Ser Aymeric, Lord of the Temple knights who gave the order. Ser Aymeric was not of noble birth, by virtue of his countless accomplishments, he rose in rank and achieved his current station. “But why would someone with such justice and virtue do such a thing..?” Tea pondered as she continuously flipped the pages of the book only to realise, “Ser Zephirin A former Temple knight elected as the current leader of the Heavens’ Ward.. was considered a prime candidate to be the next Lord Commander of the Temple Knights, but unexpectedly lost the position to Ser Aymeric..” She moved her hand away from the page, revealing an image of Ser Zephirin, golden hair clad with silver armor rimmed with blue holding a large sword in hand said to be wielded by Dark Knights. Rage and fear flared in her eyes as a flashback of that day before the door shut. The same large sword swung at her family by the golden haired beast.

She had nothing against the city of Ishgard and its people, even after all what had happened. Ishgard was her home, although she would have to hide her ears and tail to step outside, the Foundation of Ishgard was always friendly to her. The only thing should could never forgive was the Archbishop Thordan VII and his Temple Knights that guard him. Tea relentlessly studied books to gain knowledge to graduate as a Scholar to heal; a Summoner to defend, all she wanted to do was live a life her mother would be proud of. It was not revenge she was after. She wanted to save the City that gave and took her happiness...

Thus why she never left Ishgard through the struggles of being terrified of the order.

Learning to See

Pale skin with flushed cheeks from the blistering cold, unseeing eyes glazed a hue of purple. Being unable to see was a disadvantage growing up, however one day her parents had returned from a trip to the Dravanian lands with a small sunset flushed lesser panda, Strudel who had guided her growing up. But now, she is able to see without the help of strudel with her heightened senses gained. In fact she believes she can see much better without her eyesight.

“Why...” The pale faced Miqo’te sighed in defeat. She closed her eyes leaning her head against the soft sunset fur, imagining her days before present.

Only a few weeks old, she had been abandoned by her kin in the harsh eternal winters of Ishgard. Wrapped in just a bundle of woolen cloth, the poor infant was eternally blind by the stark white snow. Through hours of wailing and crying in pain, an Elezen lady searched with shocked and concerned eyes she quickly whisked the young kitten into the warmth of her velveteen arms.

A miracle you could say, the once dying kitten was saved by the love and care of her new family. They had named her Tea, a sweet name that will always keep her warm. Growing up surrounded by lavish rooms, clothes and jewelry a life she would have never began to imagine if her foster mother had found her a second too long. Although she was different, with cat like ears and a tail, she was always loved and treated as if she were their own daughter..

Looking back she smiled gently down at the wooden flooring, the fire crackling in the distance. She missed her family, especially her dear mother who had saved and taught her about life. But she was now unable to ever return to her loving family.. Not after they punished them from taking in a ‘foreigner’ into their household. Tea was never told about the Ishgardian law and was always sheltered by her foster mother, the temple knights burst into their home one day, dragging her relentlessly out of her door away from her screaming mother and family only to watch the knights large swords swing at them just before the door closed behind her.

Tea lifted up her head, no tear in sight... “I will not let them die in vain”

(( SORRY I HAVENT BEEN AROUND This is the first time Ive written in like yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaars so please be kind ;-; I am not very familiar with FFXIV lore and probably have things terribly wrong but I guess as much as I do want to integrate this story into the actual lore so that it seems more legit, im a lazy reader so thats not hapenning.
