“You know, Saihara-chan,” Kokichi began, pulling Shuichi from his thoughts.

“Yeah?” Shuichi answered.

Kokichi stared at Shuichi with a devious smile on his lips.

“This kinda feels like a date,” he commented.

“Geh…!” Shuichi squawked out.

Oh, heck! Now that I think about it, it actually is something like a date! The two of us, going to watch a movie...oh god, it really is like one, he thought to himself.

Shuichi blushed as Kokichi giggled.

“I’m just teasing you,” he said.

“I...I see…” Shuichi said with a nervous chuckle.

Even so, that still made my heart race, he thought to himself.

Preview of Yes, Master {An IASWASB Side One-Shot}

Hey, you guys! So, while I am busy working out the details for Mika and Yuu’s first date, I thought I’d upload a one-shot on AO3 that I have working on for a while. It was a request by one of my readers on AO3, IsmailPayne. It will be uploaded shortly, but for now, enjoy this small preview:

Mika sat at his desk, working on his Calc 1 homework. He wore a black button up shirt, a red clip on tie, black dress pants, and a pair of black dress shoes. He tapped the tip of his mechanical pencil on the paper as he heard a knock come from the door. "Ah, come in." he said. "Excuse the intrusion!" the door opened as he heard footsteps. Mika turned away from his homework and he felt the blood rapidly rush up to his face. Yuu had on a light grey and white low v-neck cut French maid dress that had a white sailor uniform-like collar. It was sleeveless and it came down so low that if a draft were to blow through, everything would be exposed. It was buttoned up in the front with three buttons and a small, white semicircle-shaped apron with white lace around the edges along with a light grey bow in the center of the apron sat below his waistline and seemed to be tied at the back. The skirt part of the dress had a white lace hem. He also wore sheer white thigh high socks with white lace at the top and garter belt straps clipped onto the lace on the socks and it disappeared up the skirt. He wore shiny light grey Mary Janes. There were also two white lace bows clipped in his hair. The dress hugged his hips so perfectly that it made Mika swallow. He was so ready to pounce on him and devour him that it scared the blond a little. "Um...Master Mikaela?" he watched Yuu fidget about as he noticed the tray in his hands. "I...I brought you your tea and cake..." he trailed off. "Ah, yes. Bring it over here." Mika said, motioning for Yuu to come over by his desk. "Y-Yes, Master Mikaela..." Yuu stammered out as he made his way over to Mika. He set the tray down and he placed a plate that had a strawberry tart on it and a fork nestled beside the tart in front of Mika. "Here is your cake, Master Mikaela. I'll make your tea for you while you work." Yuu said. Mika nodded. "Thank you." he replied.

“I thought you would’ve gone home by now, seeing as you got off before I did,” he commented.

“Weeeeeeell, I just remembered that I needed to pick up some other things, so I’m going to get them,” Kokichi explained.

“I see...what section are you going to?” Shuichi asked.

“Dairy. I need milk and eggs, since Amami-chan, the annoying piglet, and Keeboy are all coming over tomorrow to bake cookies.”

“I’m going to the dairy section, too! I have to pick up some orange juice.”

“My, what a coincidence! Or perhaps it could be fate?”

“I highly doubt it’s fate, Ouma-kun.”

“Nishishi~You know you could at least amuse me, my beloved Saihara-chan.”

“When do you plan on answering Amami-kun?” he asked.

“Hu-Huh? Where did that come from all of a sudden?” she whispered back.

“Well, he seemed sad that you ignored him again and I just was wondering when you’ll give him an answer.” he explained.

“I…” she trailed off.

“Kaede, do you perhaps like him?” he asked.

He watched as Kaede’s cheeks turned pink. She lowered her gaze, finding whatever was in her cup more interesting to look at.

“That...I’m still not sure.” she admitted.

“I see…” he trailed off.

He scanned the area, locking eyes with Ouma once more. He was in the middle of dancing to “Slumber Party” by Britney Spears on Just Dance as their eyes met. He smiled seductively, waving at her before moving his hips in a sensual fashion. Shuichi felt something stir from within him at the sight. Then, he felt Kaede nudge him.

“And you?” she asked.

“Me? What about me?” he answered.

He watched Miu smack Ouma, shouting insults at him as Kaede spoke.

“I mean, Ouma-kun’s been hanging around you quite a bit. Have you started feeling something for him during that time?” she asked.

Who the heck is tossing pebbles at my window, he asked himself.

That was when he saw Kokichi peeking out his bedroom window, wearing a black oversized shirt that said, “Thanks, I hate it” in neon pink block letters along with checkered pajama pants.

“Ouma-kun…?” he muttered out loud.

He opened the window and poked his head out.

“Hey, what are you—” a small pebble hit his forehead.

“Ooops. Sorry about that. I didn’t realize you opened the window,” Kokichi said.

“Oh, shut your pretty mouth, Saihara-chan! There’s more important things that we need to discuss besides Kayayday’s love affair!” 

“Like...what?”

“Oh, I think you know exactly what I mean.”

Next thing Shuichi knew, Ouma had him backed up against the door, the intoxicating scent of lavender and vanilla slamming into his nostrils. He stared down at Ouma, who had straddled his leg.

“Last night, during Seven Minutes in Heaven. You came onto me, you know.” Ouma stated.

Shuichi swallowed.

Of course he’d bring that up now. I knew he’d want to talk about it sooner or later, but I wasn’t expecting him to bring it up now, he thought to himself.

“I thought you made it quite clear that you weren’t interested, but maybe you’ve been lying to me all this time?” his fingers trailed up Shuichi’s chest. “Maybe you actually are interested in getting a little more...intimate?” he asked.

“Ugh, now I have a headache,” Kokichi stated.

“Was it really that bad?” Shuichi asked.

“Yes, it was. The cigarette smell did nothing to help the situation, either,” Kokichi pointed out.

“I see…” Shuichi trailed off.

They stopped before Kokichi’s cart.

“Let’s go get Starbucks after this. Your shift ends the same time as mine, right?” Kokichi asked.

“Huh? Yeah, it does,” Shuichi said.

“So, let’s do it! It’ll be like a date or something like that!” Kokichi chirped.

Date.

That single word was enough to make Shuichi’s heart race.

“I’m sorry.”

Kokichi’s soft apology made Shuichi stop stirring. His eyes grew wide.

“...Huh?” he said.

“I said that I’m sorry,” Kokichi said.

Shuichi took the teabag out and added the sugar to Kokichi’s tea, stirring it with the other spoon. He stirred as Kokichi continued.

“What I said yesterday about the play...I’m sorry for snapping at you like that. I shouldn’t have done that. And then you ended up getting suspended from work for a week because of me…” he trailed off.

“Ouma-kun, you don’t need to apologize.” Shuichi picked the mugs up and he made his way over to the dining table. “It makes sense why you would get upset,” he said.

“But—”

“I mean it. Don’t apologize.”
