The senior warriors of MothClan: Stoutheart, Hawksight, Pinetooth, and Deerspots.

Stoutheart is brave, devout, and compassionate, the true embodiment of MothClan ideals. He grew up with Berrystar and is now his brother in law, and is best friends (or more?) with Pinetooth.

Hawksight and Pinetooth are brothers, but couldn’t be more different. Hawksight is hostile, paranoid, and selfish, constantly fearing his Clan will find out about his half-Clan kits in BeeClan. He’ll do anything to keep them secret. Pinetooth is awkward, kind-hearted, and hardworking. Though he was painfully shy as an apprentice in part because of how Hawkpaw bullied him, in part because of his bad stammer—he has grown into a good warrior, even if he still hasn’t quite mastered social skills.

Deerspots was scarred as a young warrior by the loss of her father, and later the loss of her sister, and has turned stoic and aloof because of it. She would do absolutely anything to protect her Clan, the only family she has left.

Inktober day 5— Goldenthroat and Stoutheart are probably the first male WC ocs I ever made seriously and I love them so much. Goldenthroat was deeply traumatized by a prophecy he went on that I still haven’t decided what happened. Stoutheart has big himbo energy and is really just too good for this world.

Stoutheart’s biggest contribution to the clan is his creation of plant messages. Stoutheart took a strong interest in cultivating plants like his father, Rootheart, who was one of the first cats to try transplanting herbs closer to the medicine den to better equip the clan with treatments. Unlike Rootheart though, Stoutheart is pretty whimsical and took to transplanting flora that he found appealing in order to mark locations of importance (or woo Goldenthroat with pretty blooms!)

Goldenthroat is a master storyteller! He’s a (recovering) prophecy cat and the trauma of his journey left him physically weak and disinclined towards more traditional pursuits, so he’s often seen in the nursery tending to his own litter(s) or regaling apprentices with tales of heroes.

Stoutheart gets along with EVERYONE. Seriously it’s impossible not to like him. He wasn’t very close to his dad (although he did admire him) so he tries to be the best and proudest papa to his kits with Goldenthroat. He gets along great with his old mentor (and mother in law) Sagehare. He does have a beserk button— if you even look at his family funny you’re gonna get hit.

Goldenthroat was a lot more outgoing before his big prophecy adventure, but he still maintains a strong bond with his adoptive mother, Sagehare, and his adopted siblings. Like Stoutheart, he loves his kits, but is perhaps a bit more distant with them than he’d like to be.

Stoutheart is probably most admired for his poetry. He’ll hum little sonnets to himself while tending to his flowers or purr a little song he made up on the spot while sharing tongues with his family.

Goldenthroat is mostly admired for his service to TunnelClan and StarClan alike on his prophecy quest to reconnect the fractured groups of StarClan cats torn apart by the schism between the tunneler journeyers and the original clans.
