Strae - Lioness

Prodding with the jab of its glowing synths, Strae releases “Lioness”, the first single from the San Diego songstress. After a stint in Japan dabbling in the Japanese pop scene, the self-confessed Japanophile's latest effort “Lioness” is a move into electropop territory. Her latest single which builds on sharp crescendos, transitions from a bare and minimal electronic backing to the gushing walls of synth that accompany her roaring vocal prowess. A song dedicated to the “bold and wild women” out there, “Lioness” was written about Strae’s personal experiences borne out of frustrating relationships as she explains:

“This song is for the bold and wild women out there who are beautiful just as they are and for the men who, instead of being intimidated by powerful women, respect them for their fierceness”
