you're so welcome. like it's not even fun to dunk on bc literally nothing happens. the more i think about it the more unsettling the movie feels bc it genuinely didn't feel like a movie trying to tell a story it deadass just felt like white pro natalist propaganda 😭 me and my dad were so confused. he was like 'there's no way on earth other countries wouldn't try to kill them and take that baby and give it to galactica and save themselves'. so it was fucking bizarre that there was literally 0 push back or conflict on them risking the whole planet DYING for some random ass baby. it's like everyone in that universe thinks that babies are more valuable than anyone else and it's like hmmmmmm that mindset reminds me of some political rhetoric i keep seeing these days
