okay back on my bs..
So, this post will be about only one character, Lylen/Lixia. Her GF will be another post. :3
I did a picrew because I am VERY low spoons today.
This is BASICALLY her..
BASICS:
Lyden is 18. She goes by he/she pronouns. In day to day life she dresses bussiness casual masc, but in her free time he branches out into more 'feminine' clothes. She doesn't really care about what society, defines as feminine or masculine. She just wears & does what he wants to.
RELATIONSHIP WITH QUEERNESS:
Lylen has a complex relationship with queerness. She didn't really know much about it until recently, & still has complex relationships with how she feels about her own queerness because of how her family, upbringing, & her local latine community views queerness. (She is puerto rican, but doesn't live in puerto rico.)
Regardless, she doesn't really care what other people think about her too much in her own day to day life. He knows who she is, & that's fine.
Lyden's gender IS a binary girl, however she refuses to label it that way particularly because it feels like an othersimplication..
Additionally, even though she is a girl who loves girls, she doesn't like being called gay. She will accept the label being a lesbian, being in a lesbian relationship, touchy on the wors queer, but she doesn't like the labels much. Additionally, she still calls herself straight.
TLDR: She has her own things to work out, & overall doesn't like the labels out there. She doesn't feel they fit her well at all.
GENDER & PRESENTATION:
Lyden doesn't mind being called by he because to him, it's just a word. It's nothing. To her, people would have to earn the right to call her "she/her". She has no issue with people she doesn't know using he/him, because they don't know her. She doesn't like the idea of people she doesn't know actually gendering her any typa way. To HER, that's HER personal life, & if you ain't apart of it you need not concern yourself with it.
Similar goes for her name. She does have a feminine version of his name, Lixia, but to him his gender is personal to her. She is a private person.
However, even to his girlfriend, who is the one he is most open to ofc, he doesn't mind being gendered he/him. She just is a masculine person. While it's true her gender & femininity is kept in private, it's not because she is trapped in masculinity. It's simply what she prefers. She loves just Existing.
Transition:
Despite having dysphoria & being a girl, she doesn't feel the need to transition in a typical fashion.
To Lyden, he is completely fine with a lot of her family, random people, etc not knowing shit or even being confused. She's completely fine not socially transitioning. He is fine not really knowing if he wants to medically transition.
Where she is in her journey right now is she is figuring herself out. She is giving herself the space & time she needs in this, & is taking baby steps. She is mature enough to know not to rush herself into figuring out 100% what she wants right now. If she ends up wanting to fully transition, that's great. If she's fine going between girlmode & boymode whenever she wants to express herself, that's great too.
Okay this is long & confusing so a nice TLDR;
• she doesnt like labels becausw they don't feel right
• she is a lesbian/straight WLW
• she is masc asf & fine with that
• ^ tbh if she knew what a stud was & considered herself 'masc enough' (she does switch it up & become fem occasionally), she would be a stud.
• she doesn't really care to come out to people or transition in a typical sense at all. to her she's just living & doing what she wants.
And uhmmm yea that's all I can really say about that. Idk it's confusing & isk how to explain it.
Obligatory @ I said I'd do @lizardboypussy
