The first cut is the deepest! After more than two month I drew my first summer-of-2020-lanes. It was cool and wild, surrounded by swimmers with a lot of catching up to do like me. To swim I had to chose a time slot and register online. It will be strange for me to structure swimming like this: find a time slot, which you have to book far in advance; waiting in a long line to get in, masked; doing my lanes in that specific time slot; afterwards briefly under the shower and straight out of the bath. Maybe it’s a good preparation for those who flirt with triathlon 😊.
