Kyra sits on the edge of a three-tiered fountain in the garden. Sunglasses hide her eyes. One of the snakes on her head sits halfway in the fountain water. It’s nice outside, the sun high in the sky and a gentle breeze. Suddenly, she feels a tug on her head as one snake tries to move toward something. “What is it, Gula?” The gorgon turns her head and sees a sort of strange looking rabbit. “Oh? I haven’t seen you around here before. In fact, I don’t think I’ve seen anything that looks like you around here before.” She smiles. “Nice to meet you, newcomer.”
