Another Monday another meal prep! Onto week 4 already! I can't believe it! Over half way through the 6 week #strangeformation and I'm feel fantastic! It's crazy how diet makes such a difference to how you feel overall! I am also not worrying about what to eat as I just zap and go! This week is super dooper vegiful and 100% vegetarian friendly! On the menu this week; Breakkies: - eggs (made by my little fluffaraptor squishy!), spinach & beans Lunch/dinner: - stirfry of tofu, eggplant, choi sum, broccoli, Chinese cabbage, bean shoots, chilli, soy & garlic - zucchini pasta (made using kaiti's spiralizer) with peas, olives, onion, garlic, parsley & chilli YUUUUUMMM!! Snacks (gotta have snacks!!) Bananas, strawberries, liquorice, peanuts and raw green beans! A yummy week ahead!! Hope you all have been enjoying the touches of warmer weather! Day 2 of doing that "don't press the snooze button" thing my sisterwife @kaitiyo got me onto and it's proving to be working! HAAAAATE it for about a few minutes then get up and go nuts on life! got to fit in a 3km run + 45minute gym sesh this morning cause I wasn't a lazy bum! Yaaaay! YUMMY #mondaymealprep !!! Getting ready for week number 3 of the #strangeformation already!! 1/3rd of the way through! Feeling awesome! Yet to see much of a shift in my body weight or measurements but feeling sooo much lighter, fitter and healthier in body and mind! This week on the menu I'm going to throw in a couple of meal replacement shakes (my own recipe of whey protein powder, iron sup, peanut butter and super greens powder). I also have; - gado gado (with homemade peanut sauce) -Tofu and stir fry veggies - salad greens with tuna, avo, olives and onion. - eggs, beans & spinach for breakkies - fruit, nuts, green beans for snacks. #strangeformation Things are getting easier! Thank... Goodness!! Was so good to get up at 6am this morning to go run, lift, pull & push! I have been struggling to get up early to go work out pretty much all year even though when I go to bed I have all the intention of getting up... Why is today different? I'm not 100% certain but I have been sticking to my diet for a week now and last night did a meditation before bed so that might have helped me get a better sleep. We shall see! It goes I show that little changes and tweaks done consistently can make big changes.. Give it a whirl you never know, it could be your ticket to feeling better! Happy tuessssssday lovers! HAPPY Strange-formation DAY! Today is day 1 of my 6 week #strangeformation. I, like most of us, get a bit "comfortable" during the colder months and my midsection has been well catered for, but I am ready for CHANGE! There are 6 weeks until the #Spartansprint in Melbourne and I am using this as my finish line! The goal for Straneformation is an overhaul of nutrition, exercise and mind habits and I am dedicated to realising them all! Nutrition goal: stick to a Slow card diet, cut down on alcohol & sugar. Fitness goal: Cardio and Strength improvements (improve run from 4km to 7km) lose 5kg of body fat and improve metabolic age. Mind: spend time mediating, accept myself for who I am and become more organised and efficient. Create healthy habits! I will be documenting progress over the weeks and look forward to the results!
