SECRET FOREST 2017 • episode xvi
Secret forest / stranger 2
I’ve been scrolling and researching if the show’s gonna get a season 2. I heard somewhere that it might be
SECRET FOREST
The best criminal drama out of 2017 is finally ended. This drama really is a masterpiece, it makes you question your values of right and wrong and where do you stand between the two. While on others drama you get to know the big boss the character is facing right from the start or having able to guess who it is even before the character get the big revelation, this drama works differently. Right until the end even though I already get a spiff of who it might could be, I still doubts it umpteenth time per episode, for I believe despite what others see and know him as, he is actually good at heart and how I wish that in the end he could regain the justice he badly wanted to be in Korea. Every characters is impeccably made and each of them do support the storyline in the way others don't. None of the characters feel like cameo or just a filler. I love how it has solid foundation from the get go and how it consistenly maintained till the final episode. I found myself rooting for each character to not give into pressure of the dark side, but instead turning over a new leaf, though sadly not all of them make it to the end safely. I love how despite the fact that Lieutenant Han is a woman, she is respected by her peers and is treated equally by others as she really is a great cop. I read a comment in which they say how they become "Cho Seung Woo trash" and I am no different than them. I really like his character and of course his lobotomy background story paved it for me. I love how he really has stoic expression everytime and so I came to treasure the scene in which he grant us his angelic smiling face. I have tried to watch Duel and Tunnel but gave it up in the pilot week as the prologue really bored me. Really hope to be able to watch the season 2 ASAP. I won't even mind and keep watching it if they make it 50 or even 100 episodes long, for the Director and the Writer really is a Solid team.
i wonder if i would watch all seasons of secret forest (including Dongjae, the good or the bastard) i’m still starting season 2.
The ending of Stranger s1 episode 13 gave me goosebumps and heartbreak 😭
starting another kdrama yet again 💀
