I got to pet a kitten! Somebody was sticking a little paw through one of the gaps in the fence and I got to pet it. When the paw went back inside the fence, I stuck my finger down so that it could be sniffed and there was much sniffing. I even got to pet somebody's head! Twice!

In other news, a stranger Kitty has moved on to the patio for no apparent reason. Well I suspect the reason is that Stranger was dumped. They're mostly hiding under my patio furniture, but they did come out into the open for just a little bit this morning.

So.

I had a big long post I was going to do, but suffice it to say that last night was a long night. And I definitely confirmed that the asshole has been coming into my kitchen while the cats are resting and has been eating their food. And it appeared that the raccoon was either in or was trying to come in.

Tonight, neither the asshole nor the raccoon have made an appearance yet. Hopefully they won’t. But when the cats came in for dinner, this fellow, who we refer to as “Stranger”, was getting quite ballsy, too.
