Your opinion on...the Twitter and Instagram ST fandom XD

I HATE ST Twitter with a burning passion, they get pressed over a ship? A SHIP??? will byers should die of course he should oh my god I hate him so much let’s call him the f slur…. Instagram is just?? Weird.. like they think that the love triangle was between El Mike and Max?? And the double date m*leven and l*max? Will Byers is getting a boyfriend in season 4?? 🤨🤨 Laughing

Bought this the other day and was looking through it. I know it's not an "official" book, but it's interesting to me that the author is showing such obvious hints that El should be single/independent and not in a relationship with Mike. When mentioned together, the author just says they were "smooching" and really doesn't refer to anything else about them. There's a bit of Byler hinting and Will being gay in it, too. Here's some pictures I took along with comments under the cut:

Oh, what's this? An entire two page spread about Eleven, and Mike isn't even mentioned ONCE in it.

Then, she's referred to as E.T. on another page about movie and TV references within ST...

This just cracked me up. I thought for a second it said "respectful gay!" Anyway, it's always funny how Mike is always associated with one of El's father figures and how Hopper really despises their relationsh*t.

I see what they did, here (Cleradin, much?) Yes, I checked the box. I got it correct, right?

This is a whole page about the 80's fashion. Love how they say the colorful outfits are worn for special events, or when characters are "dressing up" (aka Mike being fake) Yeah, it'll give you a headache alright... XD

Do I really need to say anything about this one?

I like how there was a "true or false" about Will (not) being the DM (it was actually Mike), but here he is referred to as a DM (I guess for ST3) and then they quote Will from the van scene being different and feeling like a mistake after he shows Mike the D&D painting (sooo Byler coded)

They really are being so subtle about Will being gay in this book, but I love that there's so much focus on him. Not enough compared to El, but still it's sprinkled all in this book.

I would love to know anyone's thoughts on this? Am I reaching? Do I have Byler brainrot?

I did a big 'cleansing' of my blog. I didn't have the heart to delete anything, but everything is hidden EXCEPT for the fanart - which for me personally is even better than a fix-it-fic. Don't get me wrong, I love fanfics, but I mostly adore fanart. I'm an artist, and I appreciate visual art more than any other medium.

There was a lot of negativity/complaining on my blog because of the ST5 Finale Massacre, but I think if I just keep art on my page it will start to heal me. It's going to take a long time to come to terms with what the demon twins did to us collectively. I just want you all to know that I'm here with you in spirit and hope we can all heal from this.

Also, it's so harrowing to have noticed that many Byler blogs have deactivated since. I'm so, so sorry. I was even considering it for a while...

I'm not even joking, it feels like I'm living in a mini-Hawkins (and Lenora, CA) since so many things are popping up that remind me of those iconic areas in Stranger Things!

We have this pinball arcade (with a D&D Pinball machine and Dig-Dug in one of the retro multi arcade games) along with a 'Scoops' Ice Cream truck, a roller disco rink (literally called Four Wheelies LOL) we have a really 80s style mall (a few actually) that are always super busy and the houses around me are very Wheeler's 70's style (even my house) It's so freakin' weird but awesome. Not to mention my mom dressed SO much like Karen Wheeler in the 80s, kinda cracks me up. I guess that makes me Holly Wheeler since I'm the youngest of 3 kids.

This is me coping with the fact that I never went to those "Stranger Things Experience" events, but it's totally OK because I'm literally living it in real life minus the supernatural craziness. It's really so nice that all these retro places are popping back up again. I grew up in the mid-late 80s and it still feels like a blast from the past! (Yes, I'm as old as the Duffers leave me alone LOL)

Does anyone else have anything they live around that give them ST vibes? I would love to hear about it if you reblog this!

I recently bought this silkscreen ST2 (my favorite season) poster at the flea market this weekend and I wanted to transfer it out of my black frame into a white one (to match my room better) so I found this big IKEA frame and put this like, golden rainbow glitter shimmer multi-chrome material behind it LOL (was a last minute idea looking through my stuff) and I placed it near my custom Licca Stranger Things dolls (and ST figurines) cubby shelf next to my bed! I am SO pleased with how it turned out! It's so freaking beautiful & I love how the background shimmers different colors wherever you move while looking at the poster!
