The cold air fill the air, there was not a single noise around the castle, everyone was just too focused on studying for the exams before the exams period or decided to be happy and get a proper sleep night with the freezing weather the season brought
You were part of the group that was trying to stay awake and study as much as you could to avoid the stress during exam season, your girlfriend, on the other hand, was resting next to you, her head on the textbooks, you sigh and pronounced a simple spell to put a pillow underneath her for Nymphodora to rest well, she looks so peaceful and calm.
The night went on, the common room was now empty, it was just you two, you saw the time and decided it was a good idea to take a break, you walk upon the window and stare at the lovely sky since it was wintertime, all the stars illuminate Hogwarts, it offers such a view.
When Nymphodora woke up, she saw she was lonely at the study table, she was still a bit sleepy but started to look right away for you, where did you go? Why did you leave her alone!? Omg did something happens to you?!! god no, like yeah Hogwarts is supposed to be the safest place on earth, but Goddess it can be rough!!
And as she was having this mental breakdown about where you were! She trips with some plant that was in the common room, she made quite a scene typical of her, the loud noise got you out of your mesmerizing at the starry sky and turn to see what it was.
And when your eyes found she just felt her heartbeat race, you are so pretty, so wonderful and so pure she got lucky since she is dating the nicest and amazing person around the castle. The rays of moonlight illuminate your skin and even though you are tired of studying you look perfectly imperfect in her eyes.
— Oh Nymphodora, love are you okay?
You asked quite worried as you approach where she was.
— Did I die? And was received in heaven? Because love, the prettiest angel is holding me!
She says with a smirk and makes you blush
— Oh Nymphodora, you are talking nonsense!!
You said completely blushed
— Nonsense?!? Of course, I’m not, you are soooo pretty, I can’t believe I’m so lucky, may I get a kiss?
She says as she watched you flustered and her smirk only grow bigger on her face
— A little little kiss!! Pleaseeeee
— Fine…
You said as you lean and leave a soft little kiss on her lips, and when she was about to protest you shut her
— You say a little little so that’s what you are getting, and now, if my girlfriend is alright I’m gonna go back to study
— Study? You have been studying for ages!! What were you doing before I wake up? You weren’t here!
— I was looking at the sky, is so starry tonight and I was wondering if I could see your constellation
A tiny bit of blush appear on her cheek and she stands up bringing coats for both of you, and simply says
— We are going out to look it up together!!
And since you couldn’t deny her anything, you agree and went outside with her, being extremely careful, you didn’t want to get detention.
That’s how you spend the rest of the night, goofing around in the snow, seeking stars and dancing under the moonlight, enjoying the emotions of the first love, and god, you wish this moment was eternal. At least now, every single time you look to the starry sky you will remember this moment.
None of you found the constellation, you were too busy enjoying each other company.
